Still do not know who actually did the music for the game, though.

Also, the music on the original files is at the wrong speed, so you will have to actually have to set your speed manually on NotSo Fatso at 52.

Marshall Parker is the author of Star Wars music.

It's a bad idea to rely on emulator settings to produce proper playback. It needs to be re-ripped. I think I'll look into it later, but no promises though.

Kyouhei Sada wrote the music for Stinger.

You can find this information at Mobygames. Sometimes some games you need to hack in order to find out the credits.

Updated both. Yeah, I convert my files in foobar and the Star Wars list isn't at the right speed when you open it up in anything other than NotsoFatso (WinAmp). I had to manually adjust the speed in my music editor when I made my MP3's of that soundtrack.

I also use GameFaqs for some of the composer info...although most are void of that specific credit. And I've noticed some are either wrong or incomplete.

Ok, I just re-ripped the NSF. It now has the proper playback speed and will also perform as such when played on the real hardware. In Matrixz rip, he didn't do some initialization that accounts for the speed of the tune. There is a number for each tune that is fed into the sound driver core that tells it where to pick up the tempo and speed table.

Some of the tunes in your NSFE are still too fast. One reason why it's a bad idea to use the speed setting in the header is because it doesn't account for the exact speed for all tunes. I never use that setting ever. In fact, some emulators and plugins ignore that byte in the header.

It was originally made for oddball pirates from China that operated on clone Famicoms that had different CPU speeds and resolution refresh.
