A self-invitation to be bitten in the ass... good job guys @ the Chrono Compendium.

It's leaning towards being real... but eh, let that hash out there first.

I'm not entirely sure what's the problem (other than the legalities), but my only guess judging from what is being done in those hacks are the equivalent of a new game. These types of changes would have been better for Square-Enix... hurting the potential, possibilities, and ultimately profit. I am very disappointed in Square-Enix (I was already there after some of these shitty ports they ask others to make anyhow). To be honest, I would have thought they would have been better to hire some of the romhackers and/or guys behind making the stories.. given that there's a lack of quality of that in movies and games today... but that's for another day.

My point is, it is Square-Enix's property, and I personally think there's a more amenable solution than a Cease and Desist order....

JCE's hacks tends to need a bit of testing for oversights..
AKA one playthrough?

AKA - "I hack it, you play it."

The patch is buried in the previous posts as attachments... it may be a hassle to find...

When I get to releasing what I have, it should have Dr. Lugae's battle complete (but not balanced to my liking yet.. as I haven't beaten it) and it should also cover the Super Cannon event (I forget if I changed that battle buglessly), but it should be "the end" for now.

I intended to change Edge's starting magic... I've already changed what he learned when he gets furious (to add cooler spells instead) and Flood and Blitz should *hopefully* be learned just fine (it becomes spells you learn by level instead).

It's still fun in the end though.

I'm a little late to this party, but Bruins win in 5.

I'm not sure if this info still applies, but one of the things JCE did allow for this hack was drop those Silver Apples from the Liliths. This item should make your game easier, despite being crippled in the EXP gaining.

Also, take advantage of the fact that Dr. Lugae (solo) should be easier to beat if you use the Thunder Claw and perhaps the Lit Arrows.

Bleh, now my comp's down, and when it's replaced with working parts, I will release what I have done so far, so maybe someone might be interested in reusing some ideas (maybe not), but the current lack of interest (I was playing classic C&C damnit) made it more difficult to continue on.... if there are any lingering questions, please do tell.

Is the Strengthen/Boast 99 Wisdom cap restricted to characters only, or does that include monsters? I should run those tests myself though... I get the feeling monsters avoid this behavior.

I'm in the same boat, except I have no interest in paying that much more for cable, plus I'm cheap.
I have no interest either (plus no money to do it with).

Here here!

The NHL was stupid when they decided not to keep themselves on ESPN (and ABC, which would probably air some of their stuff locally) so it would get a little more attention.
As I recall, it was ESPN that did not want to renew, which made the NHL go out and get this absurd TV contract they have now. But since the strike, they're up to two analysts now (Barry Melrose and Matthew Barnaby). They should be up to 6 within the next 15 years.

IIRC, it was all about the $$$. ESPN wasn't willing to shell it out, and out of the blue, Versus (it had a different name before, which was a bit ghetto) decided to step in.

Prostitutes don't like to go mouth-to-mouth. Remember that ugly chick from Pretty Woman?

Julia Roberts is still damn hot...
