Title: Speaking about Golbez Sprites for Final Fantasy IV Playable Golbez Edition
Post by: thepatirckinator on August 16, 2016, 11:45:31 AM
I wish fedorajoe the best of luck for making a fully playable Golbez for Final Fantasy IV.

These are the programs you must be using to make a fully playable Golbez:
FF4kster for making Final Fantasy IV Romhacks.
Translhextion for plain hex view.
Geiger's SNES9X Debugger for decoding ASM and writing new code.
Tile Molester to edit graphics for Golbez.
Cartographer to dump the game's text.
Atlas to insert the game's new text.

 For example: :cybez:

I hope you guys find the correct sprite coding for Golbez's Pressure and new get damaged sprite from Dream Golbez. I've made an example of a new victory pose for Golbez.

If you guys can't reach me, I've figured out that you are trying to make a SNES version of Dream Golbez based on his sprites from flashbacks as shown in the PSP and Wii/Mobile Phone version of The After Years.
his his Dream Golbez sprite from the phone and Wii version of The After Years. I saw the Taunt sprite for Golbez that fedorajoe is having a hard time working on. The victory pose for Golbez will be a palette swap of Cecil's but will look like the Wii/PSP version with the cape only in the back. Also, your turning Edge's get damage sprite into Golbez's resembling his get damaged sprite from the Wii/PSP version of The After Years.
