Ok.. this is pretty much "done for now" and will probably be submitted later today.

Feedback is really in demand now, so PLEASE PLEASE comment on it.

As an aside, with some of the recent research I know now, I will probably update the spell guide at about the same time.

Todo after posting:
1) Do item section
2) Do bugs section
3) Fill in tips section as I recall cool stuff

Final Fantasy IV Research & Development / Re: FF4A - Slowing Petrify
« on: November 23, 2008, 01:35:29 PM »
A final note.. while under 2/3 Stone status, another Slowing Petrify hit automatically sets Stone.

Anyways, it does seem interesting how Slow Petrify cannot be applied to a monster under Charm status...

Ah thanks.

 :edit:

I did find a way to test the effects of the patch for FF4A (didn't test the Jap version), and it worked just fine.
Manipulating the level would be the perfect test anyways...

Ok, somehow this gets 13 downloads, but no comments?  :wtf: :lame:

Finally I've stopped putting off writing the status info.. I just need to write up the timer info (from http://slickproductions.org/forum/index.php?topic=495.0) to finish this off (and probably immediately do the equipment stats afterwards since all the stat infos out there suck ass).

There are some updates, including the newly found Twin command info, Double Meteor (FF4A specific), Monster Hit Rate, Critical Hit bonuses for the Bow+Arrow combo... and a few other things that seem to make more sense.

Well, you haven't released it officially then AFAIK.

Can't you use the previously linked version and work (or fix the bugs) against that?

I still have a copy of the patch if that's need.

Small  :bump:

Anything that's holding up the updated release, or are those dots causing irrepairable changes?

Small  :bump:

Besides losing interest in FF3 (it always happens before or after the Tower of Fanatics for me), I was waiting for an updated patch with some of the issues addressed.. too bad I forget what exactly.

You couldn't goto the FF4A FAQs and Walkthroughs for this?

There are some cosmetic changes for the most part, plus 2 new dungeons and 5 more characters you can use for the final battle.

You're marked as dead by default, and the search option only searches for active people by default.

I didn't find my name on it (I thought the drop down box was primarily for people that have contributed before). I checked for my names previously and it wasn't there before...
