Hehe you made me laugh so much, more then most comedy do :D
Anyway, I know its black and white (actually its gray-scale) since I already said that in the previous post. What I mean is that if I use Pal1 on Tileset2 we will get a darker version.
lol, now I see it, must have overlooked the last part of that sentence haha.
Anyway, just for confirmation I attached 2 screencaps where you can compare the petrified and dead portraits to the normal one.

First of all, great work on this!

Second, you know what I would absolutely love this to have? An event script editing mode. I know there's still some R&D to be done in the area of event scripts, and I have some important school stuff to get out of the way before I help with that, but please make it happen! :childish: :cookie:

With great pleasure! There is one condition though - you guys make the R(research), I will do the D(development)
13375K31C43R Do you think you can deep dive in the topic? LightPhoenix had made an extensive research in the past and his documents are the only thing we have on the subject.

I did make some contributions (over a year ago) to LightPhoenix's list of event script IDs, which I put on Google Drive - check it out here. I would absolutely love to get back to that when I have a little more time. I would also like to improve on his reference of event commands. Those two things will be most useful to you.

Great! I didn't know you are working on them. I'm curious, did you do 'de-compile' a script to its commands and then, maybe put some notes there (similar to what LightPhoenix has done to few scripts), or you when trough the script, understood what it does and added a description?

Indeed! A deeper event command research is a must! LightPhoenix  has done outstanding job, but there are some blind spots. Also possibilities for error is huge until more people do the digging and then more people use it for decompile/edit.

A combination of the latter plus debugging.

By the way, I'm getting an error when trying to run this: "S:\2564 - Final Fantasy V Advance (U)(Independent).gba not found."

That's left over from debugging process. Just close it and it will continue.

Speaking of errors, I always forget reporting this:
when trying to view the battle background for a SNES ROM, "Not valid LZ77 Stream" and "Access violation at address 00497911 in module "FFV_viewer.exe" read of address 00000004" pop up. So the backgrounds are not shown.
However, for GBA ROMs, everything is fine. Backgrounds are shown, and no error occours.

Code: [Select]
7.0 Added Background tab (GBA only!) Added LZ77 GBA compression. Added Monster Graphics (GBA)
Unfortunately that is still true, this feature is GBA only! I have no enough info to do the SNES part :(

If you guys have any info, please share it here!
