Either my memory is fuzzy.. but IIRC, if money is dropped when you run away, supposedly the monsters "get stronger".

Is that true? If yes, how exactly is this manifested? This was never made clear to me.

I've never heard of this nor looked into it, as far as I know losing money is the only thing that can happen when you run.

I remember reading that the chance to drop Gil is 25%. Where I got that from, and whether or not it’s accurate, I can’t fathom.
