Peep/Study Command

This command operates like Peep.. it works only on non-boss enemies. It works 100% of the time.

The command is not disabled while under Silence because the command isn't using the Peep spell,
but something customized.. most notably there is no visual.

Well, I have managed to make Peep useful by turning it into "Seek" what this effectively does is it increases the chance you will gain an Item by defeating the First Listed Enemy Type by +1 (+40) as it is shown in PinkPuff's editor.

Here is the code... (I must say I am rather proud of myself even though the code is amateurish at best)

03E195 - 9D CB 34 (STA 34CB x7E34CB) - Load A into 7E34CB
03E1A2 - A9 1E (LDA 1E) - Load 1E (Message containing HP) into A.
03E1A4 - 8D CA 34 (STA 34CA x7E34CA)

03E19F - 20 A2 E1 (JSR E1A2) - Jump to rest of routine.
03E1A2 - 69 3F (ADC 3F) - Load 3F (+1) (+1 Item Chance Index) into A.
03E1A4 - 8D 8E 35 (STA 358E x7E358E)
03E1A7 - E9 3F (SBC 3F) - Subtract 3F in order to make it align correctly when the data doubles back on itself and the Accumulator doesn't add +1
03E1A9 - 60 RTS (Start the doubling back process early so as not to include now worthless instructions)

And it doesn't even effect the normal spell Scan/Peep's functionality so it works out Perfect in the end!

I don't have time to find this in ROM but I can say for certain that the time where we can edit commands to how we please is likely upon us!

It's certainly looking that way, originally one could have said it was for Rydia but we now know she was going to retain white magic, leaving her with no empty slots.

Well, I have a cool, crazy ass, and imaginative theory.

This command was supposed to "Mechanize" the monster. When used, the monster gets the Mech attribute. That way, the hammers Cid uses don't look silly.

These bits correlate with the Ogre Axe/Hand Axe, Hammers, and Lit Arrows. These bits would "enable" this command to operate.

The Ogre Axe was probably meant to be found at the Magnetic Cave (or maybe even Cave Eblan).. but was retweaked for whatever the reason.

03E1A2 - A9 02 (LDA 02) - Load 02 into A
03E1A4 - 8D 40 27 (STA 2740 x7E2740)- Load 02 into Monster Type, replacing other types with Machine.
03E1A7 - E9 00 (SBC 00) - (Ideally would be a message, but I'm not sure how to do that but this remnant code shouldn't cause an issue.
03E1A9 - 60 RTS (Start the doubling back process early so as not to include now worthless instructions).

And since Peep doesn't work on Bosses in the first place, it shouldn't work here either.

I can't say I know how Weapon Properties Work, but you can make the command only limited to be used with Hammer (in replace of Sing's two-handed necessity preferably) as I showed here.
