Mate: 19-13 (DNP weeks 3-11)
Gil: 81-66 (DNP week 5)

Scores Going Into SNF Week 12:
Leno: 9-5
Gil: 11-3
Me: 8-6

There shouldn't be any change after SNF+MNF on the picks (Steelers+Saints). Congrats to Gil for being ahead of the game this week... or maybe it's just lady luck? :P

Notes on some of the games:
CBS Early Game (Bills @ Jets) - It was kinda interesting, and yet it wasn't. Simply ugly.
FOX Early Game (Vikings @ Falcons) - It was interesting to see a 104 yard return for no TD. Plus there was no followup TD, but a fail via a missed challenge.
CBS Early Game Bonus (Browns @ Bengals) - Meh
CBS Late Game Bonus (Broncos @ Chargers) - Only the Chargers could lose this
Thanksgiving Games - Lions might just fall off the proverbial cliff w/o Suh. Packers might just go undefeated. Fish could've won that game... but didn't. Cowboys get some credit, but they are not that great overall. They have some toughness I guess.
Disappointing - Da Bears. Clearly the playoff game was more the aberration than the norm. Sinking fast is the Bears hopes.. the Falcons will claim a playoff spot. The other spot is very much up for grabs.

The Falcons do have a tougher schedule than the Bears, but IIRC the Falcons have made the playoffs practically every year since Matt Ryan started at QB.

RIP Bears season. Some thumb injury to Cutler came up... and I doubt the backup will do a good enough a job to keep the Bears in the chase for the Wild Card... Texans are in a similar boat (a week ago).

fortunately, the Chiefs and the Vikings are in their remaining schedule.  also, i was already writing off the second Packers matchup as a loss, so there's no change there.  not to mention, Caleb Hanie did a respectable job in the NFC Championship game last year subbing for an injured Cutler.

Well, your team came from almost sure Wild Card berth (with the Lions, Packers with the division obviously) to barely getting in there. There's no guarantee that Hanie will win all the games that would've been a "sure bet". You're also competing with the likes of the Giants/Cowboys and Falcons. Every win+loss will change the outlook. I kinda expect the Giants to fade (they seem to have one of the tougher schedules left), but you're gonna have to put the work on the d and special teams to even have a chance.

Lions - It's simply just a hunch.

Dolphins @ Cowboys (Thursday)

Cowboys - I think the Cowboys are slightly better than the resurging fish.

49'ers @ Ravens (Thursday)

Ravens - The game will be close... too bad I can't watch this...

Texans @ Jaguars (division)

Texans - No Schaub for now is not the problem... yet.

Bills @ Jets (division)

Jets - The Bills bandwagon is falling off... not that the Jets are doing so hot.

Browns @ Bengals (division)

Bengals - I get the feeling the Bengals will rebound after some brutal division games...

Vikings @ Falcons

Falcons - Home Sweet Dome

Cardinals @ Rams (division)

Rams - Meh, another ugly matchup

Panthers @ Colts

Colts - One of the last few chances to not be the next Lions.

Buccaneers @ Titans

Bucs - It's not for a lack of trying that the Bucs kept it close with the Packers...

Bears - I don't think the Raiders are that good... even with the loss of Cutler.

Redskins @ Seahawks

Seahawks - Go figure. This looks like a shitty matchup of sorts.

Broncos @ Chargers (division)

Broncos - Go Team Tebow?

Patriots @ Eagles

Pats - I'm not comfortable with this pick, given SNF.

Steelers @ Chiefs

Steelers - Perhaps NBC couldn't flex in the Pats... although I guess the Eagles just came off SNF.

Giants @ Saints (Monday)

Saints - I get the feeling there will be a Giants slide to go with the Giants schedule.

Bucs @ Packers (FOX Early) - Packers d is disappointing. Score was closer than it needed to be.
Chargers @ Bears (CBS Late) - Meh @ another beatdown
Titans @ Falcons (CBS Late bonus) - Didn't see much, but shocked at how this game was close with a backup QB (Jake Locker) making plays.

Chrome 15 is out. Blah blah blah. Firefox 8 is slightly better memory-wise. Update your Adobe Flash... meh.

There is some decent consistency that when Chrome gets an update, a Flash update is on its way out. But...

Jets - Despite the loss, the Jets don't have to do that much in the pass... although I'd like Tebow Time to be extended.

Buccaneers @ Packers

Packers - What happened to this up and coming team? Oh well.

Panthers @ Lions

Lions - The Lions better lick then wounds soon... the Bears are making a comeback here...

Jagaurs @ Browns

Jags - I'm not sure if anyone really watched the Rams beat the Browns last week.

Raiders @ Vikings

Raiders - This game might be closer than it looks. Remember, the Raiders are the same team that lost to Team Tebow. Does AP smell blood?

Bills - Perhaps this is the fix that ails the Bills...

Early CBS game - Cowboys owned the Bills like expected. Fortunately, they switched me out to watch the more interesting Steelers @ Bengals game. At least that was interesting...
Early FOX game - WTF WERE THE FALCONS THINKING?!?!?
Late FOX game - The 49ers were better than the Giants... as I thought. So yay! I got to see some bonus Lions @ Bears coverage, but that was pointless with the score.

Eagles - Go figure on what happened to the Eagles on SNF... well, maybe not. There is something to the Bears matchup.

Panthers - I'm not comfortable with this matchup... it's a toss up in my mind.

Texans @ Buccaneers

Texans - Is there any sane reason why one would pick up Haynesworth?

Redskins @ Dolphins

Dolphins - TBH, this is a terrible matchup. Which team sucks more? I have no idea.

Jaguars @ Colts (division)

Jags - If you are running fantasy, I'd say MJD will have a field day.

Broncos @ Chiefs (division)

Chiefs - I don't know why. Team Tebow can't always have Tebow Time.

Bills @ Cowboys

Cowboys - It feels like some crazy upset pick. The Cowboys have a run game that could run all over this Bills defense... and I wonder if the Bills decline is starting. I guess we'll find out. I don't think the Cowboys are that good though...

Saints @ Falcons (division)

Falcons - The Falcons are very tough at home... for whatever the reason.

Rams @ Browns

Browns - There's a potential for an upset, but this is an awful matchup on paper.

Steelers @ Bengals (division)

Steelers - I still think the Steelers are better than the Bungles.

Ravens @ Seahawks

Ravens - If history of the Ravens tell us anything, they could have another slide... unless they change that.

Giants @ 49'ers

49ers - I guess the Giants won their SB again...

Lions @ Bears (division)

Lions - Time favors the Lions, but I'm unsure if they are actually better than the Bears. These two teams will have to duke it out to get the Wild Card...

Patriots @ Jets (division)

Jets - I'm just too down on my team. Jets looking to get better...

Vikings @ Packers (division, Monday)

Packers - I do see a potential for an upset by the Vikings, but that would require Rodgers to have a really shitty day. I don't think that trend of having a bad defense can keep a team undefeated for so long.

Are you planning to remove the messages altogether or alter them to become useful?

I don't know where exactly that stuff is located, but battle messages are lumped in a more contiguous area AFAIK. The command pointers to the message are another story... but might not be too hard to find if you look/compare to the FF4 (Japanese) ROM. At least in FF4, they are had some actual use/purpose.
