Thank you Jorgur, it worked flawlessly. I must of overlooked it when I searched through the threads. Maybe there should be a sticky for all patches that were created on this forum so they can all be found in one place.

Is there a way to un-berserked the Berserker job? I used an editor and unchecked the innate berserk for the job, but the job is still under berserk during battle. So that didn't work.

Final Fantasy V Research & Development / Re: Monk HP+% Question

Just so I understood right you guys correctly, Freelancer gets every innate ability from every job the character has mastered. For Monk, if its mastered. When using the Freelancer job, it gets HP +60% (10% + 20% + 30%) or simply just HP +30%.

Final Fantasy V Research & Development / Monk HP+% Question
« on: March 17, 2013, 10:44:46 AM »
Are the Monk's three HP +#% stackable when using the Freelancer job, or does it only take the highest HP+%?

Thanks for the reply Deathlike2, I wasn't aware for the Shuriken and fist graphics acted in the same way. When I notice this some years ago on the arrow and harp, it was on the SNES version.

Final Fantasy IV Research & Development / Arrows/Music Notes Bombardment
« on: November 13, 2012, 01:32:49 AM »
This is something that I was wondering about and wondered how the arrows and harps bombardment functions of curiosity since I'm replaying FFIV. I've check the boards and I didn't find anything about it, or I might of missed it. I don't know if this was already research or not, so sorry if this has already been answered and please re-direct me to that thread.

I remember a while ago... well, more like 10 or so years ago. I hack Edward's attack stats and gave him a lot of attack power (probably the maximum) and when I attack with his harp (Lamia's Harp). It took quite a long time before Edward finished his attack, the enemy was bombarded with music notes and it seems to never end. Also, the same thing happens with arrows.

There's something that I notice, the more arrows and music notes that were present, the more damage both of these weapons dealt. I've recently heard that more arrows/music notes appears when agility/speed increases meaning the more damage these weapon inflict. I have not tested this myself (the agility/speed thing), but I do know that the attack power, thru level ups and equipping new harps increases the music note's count.

 :bump:

I'm starting to think the Axe+Hammer bits are used for a dummied command...

Quote from: Tower of Babil docs - battlemenu.txt
14 Peep  58 one ally/enemy
15 Dummy 60 (Unknown and unused command)
16 Dart  50 one ally/enemy

The command was meant for Cid.. but it never was complete.

Found this bit of info about Cid's second command, source provided bellow. Now we know what it was suppose to be named.

 FF4j                        FF2
ひくうてい    Airship    Dummy

"Unused in any version, but the name appears with the other commands, and the command itself is configured to target all enemies. Presumably meant to be an airstrike. Hacking it into a command list works fine, as long as you never try to use it... doing so crashes the game."

I don't think they can be disable, but then again I'm not an expect when it comes to these things. I found this stuff a week or so ago. Glad I documented it after doing some trial and error. The offsets are for a headered rom.
