General Discussion / Re: Battle Stats
« on: March 12, 2008, 03:39:04 PM »
Are you ready?     Keep in mind these are just off the top of my head.   :cycle:

In battle
  • # times poisoned, confused, and etc on all status ailments
  • total time spent in battle
  • total time poisoned--with a special message if poisoned for a certain time amount (and or the other ailments)
  • # times enemy ran
  • # times each character has crit'd
  • # times "surprised" and "strike first"
  • which character has been hit the most times (magic and phyiscal)
  • which character has taken the most damage (magic and physical)
  • monster most fought
  • monster least fought
  • favorite weapon/armor used (as an item)
  • favorite spell used in battle
  • monster's favorite skill/spell used on the party

Out of battle:
  • # of steps on certain terrain--swamp, desert, etc.
  • # times entered dungeons/caves/etc
  • # times entered "safe zones" towns/castles with no monsters
  • most played music (probably battle music lol)
  • party's favorite area visited (could seperate between town and or cave/dungeon/etc)
  • # times entered the menu
  • total time spent in town
  • game clock reading on each orb/crystal obtained--in other words what clock time when the character obtains the Earth Orb/Crystal
  • game clock reading when/if class advanced
  • # of inn visits
  • # of clinic visits
  • # of saves from Inn visits, tent/cabins, or menu
  • total time dead (per party member, and stone counts)

I could come up with more if asked.

Final Fantasy IV Research & Development / Re: 1GP Sell Price Bit
« on: March 12, 2008, 03:12:17 PM »
It exists, but I don't know where that is. It is tagged for the items Ether1, Ether2, and Elixir (and Megalixir in FF4A).

I've been looking for that bit FOR-FREAKIING-EVER.  I hope someone finds it.  I'm willing to bet since Square coded this game retarded that there is a 256 byte table that signifies which item sells for 1GP.  Yes, no

Game Modification Station / Re: problem with MQME
« on: March 10, 2008, 02:31:56 PM »
The editor was incomplete AFAIK.

This is correct.  I never got around to finishing it.  Before the end of the year I do plan on at least finishing the character and item editor portions.

Hi,

I've just downloaded the editor (MQME) and when I try to open it I get this message :" component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".

I tried re-downloading the whole thing a few times but it didn't help. Any advice?

thx!

I have them on my main page: http://www.blitzkrieginnovations.net/

The Boys Are Back in Town - Thin Lizzy

I see your Thin Lizzy and raise you another Thin Lizzy:

Though it be said I like the Metallica cover much better.

When you cast Exit while on a damage tile, you plan on taking 2100HP damage.

I used to do that on purpose because I found it humorous.

This game has many more unsolved mysteries than... pretty much more than any other FF game I've completed.

Don't forget the bad coding...the worst coding ever.

I could of SWORN the Imp call spell does more damage to other Imps.  Test it again, I'm 99.98% positive it does.

That's a huge amount for any area, especially if it falls within a few hours. Then it's crippling. :whoa:

Seriously.  It all fell within about 2 hours.  It took me 45mins or so to drive 6 miles.  Mostly because these idiots here can't drive in the dry much less in the rain or snow/ice.

Ugh, well, I guess that makes sense. That also explains why Haste is a huge boost, and Slow is a massive penalty. I suspected the Plague hasting Haste on the entire party was to make the death countdown go faster, and this pretty much confirms it.

I pretty much agree here.  I'm strongly for the theory that Haste does indeed increase the speed of count.  I've casted Slow on one of my characters in said Plague battle and they counted down slower than the rest.

Doesn't the damage x 16 versus other Goblin/Imp enemies?

Officially we had 7-10" of snow here.  That's a huge amount for the Dallas area.   :omg:
