Working on this is a pain in the ass, here's a working copy at the moment.
Doing the Algo one may be harder to do... though... I'd have to relook at that mess... heh.

All the strategies themselves are great, only problems I could find were little things:

Nothing wrong with your description but I'd add a bit about how the command changes to "Off" when in use. I've seen a few threads asking about the mythical Off command at GameFAQs... :tongue:

Interesting detail you'd miss out on unless you have him as your map character when you open the menu.[/spoiler]

I have an unconventional Octomammoth strategy: Kill Rydia and Tellah. Have Cecil use the Hermes sandals on himself to increase his number of turns, without the other two slowing down the battle he'll get a lot more turns than normal and can really take advantage of the weakness here.

There is also a lot of capitalization that doesn't really make sense ("Dark Blades" in Cecil's description, for example), I didn't bother pointing that out because I wasn't sure if it was intentional for emphasis or what.

No surprises there, that's a logical improvement actually. I'd still like a Kain vs Edge battle royale though. That battle script could be modified as such....

I think that has more to do with FF4A than anything... since command execution is lined with Agility/ATB.
It affects FF4a more because its battles are slow to begin with but it applies to every version.

I'm pretty sure that's not the right name (this isn't the Fabul battle).. but I'll have to double check how FF4A calls it.
The one at Fabul is "Captain" in FF4.
I liked FF2's naming better. It was so simple and obvious.
