10, and it seems to be a direct port. However, there are no load times! Battles begin instantaneously after the fade-in, and end instantaneously after the items/gil screen. The game doesn't have to stop and try to load the data from the disc. :win:
Yeah, the entire Untold Legends series is full of fail.
It's out today. I'm playing it now and really liking it. Seems to be broken up into multiple episodes tho. 800 points seems to have bought me the main game. Rydia's Story costs an extra 300
JCE3000GT- When you created this hack, were you aware that it would likely be possible, due to all these flaws in the game (Well I call them flaws...but what I mean is that the normal game is way too easy)
Seriously I figured it would be possible (V3.0) but extremely difficult (V1.0). Who knows..?
Uh... anything in between? My version doesn't sound like either of those. My ROM does say v1.0.
Features:
No XP/GP from anything
Most treasure chests changed
All shops only sell Life potions
Life potions do not work in battle; everything else does
Some spell costs changed (Chocobo, Hold and Scan changed to 77, View to 10)
For the record, an older version of this has been leaked.
FF2us Impossible V1.0 FINAL
This patch was created by JCE3000GT on 5/01/2001.
You need this ROM *with* a header Final Fantasy II (U) (V1.0) [!]. This may or may not work with other versions of FF2us or FF4 and I haven't tested it.
NOTE: If you find any bugs or whatnot please drop me a line.
NOTE 2: This version has only one change, all monsters give ZERO EXP. Nothing else has been altered.

NOTE: This is the 3rd version of my FF2us Impossible hack, this time there should be very little if any bugs. Please provide a detailed report at varying locations in the game.
UPDATE: What's changed is the following...
1) Every non-boss monster gives the same EXP and GP--minus the final dungeon.
2) Boss monsters give SOME EXP and GP...not much.
3) Monsters who are summoned by other monsters give ZERO GP and EXP to prevent exploits.
4) All weapons are bought for the same price--50GP to prevent users from being tempted to use the duplication glitch to gain money.
5) Armor on the other hand is not as cheap.
6) There is some new content, which will be in my up coming FF2us Insane hack.
7) All bugs should be eliminated--but as always if you find any please report them to me.
