Like the others this one will make the game easier.

What will change:
  • Make the characters godlike ~ 0% done
  • Make Rabbites give tons of EXP/GP ~ 0% done
  • Make Rabbites give a better item (Candy sucks!) ~ 0% done

    This project will commence right after I finish the CT and Zelda 3 Easy projects.

Like the CT Easy project this one is mainly going to make the exsisting game easier.

What will change:
  • Removing all normal enemies from the overworld ~ 100% done
  • Removing all normal enemies from the darkworld ~ 99% done
  • Removing all normal enemies from dungeons ~ 95% done
  • Removing most damaging ares/floors/etc from dungeons ~ 95% done
  • Remove all slippery ice from the ice areas ~ 95% done
  • Remove some "holes to nowhere" that cost life and a score point ~ 65% done
  • Add more money randomly throughout the game ~ 65% done
  • Add more Magic refill randomly throughout the game ~ 90% done
  • Add a "Heart Piece Farm" south of the Eastern Palace~ 100% done
  • Give the player all three magic spells right after you exit the Sanctuary located in Link's house ~ 0% done
  • Most doors that require a key in dungeons have a key near the door under a pot ~ 75% done
  • Make a power-up room in Link's house that gives plenty of arrows/bombs/rupees/fairies/etc ~ 100% done
  • Remove certain obstacles that impede the players progress but won't hurt the storyline ~ 95% done
  • Import the trumpet instrument sample from Final Fantasy IV...because it is better ~ 100% done
  • Some other things I may have neglected (need ideas needed!)

Should be self explainatory.  I've started a quick CT mod that just makes the game easier. 

What will change:
  • Make all characters' starting equipment godlike ~ 20% done
  • Make Hetake's EXP/G amounts to 50k each to allow spamming of levels/techs/gold ~ 100% done
  • Add some treasure in the begining that contains over 65k Gold each as well as some misc items ~ 100% done
  • Make an NPC in the Millenial Fair that gives free Silver Points ~ 0% done
  • Make an NPC in the End of Time that gives free Gold ~ 0% done
  • Make an NPC in the End of Time that gives free Tabs ~ 0% done
  • Make an NPC in each town that gives free Mega Elixirs ~ 0% done
  • Add save points near all major bosses and in areas that do not normally have save spots ~ 5% done
  • Add a secret warp room that will allow the user to warp to whatever area they want (will need to be learned/unlocked) ~ 0% done

I'm not doing an overhaul.  I'm making an easy version that removes all the non-boss monsters.  And maybe add a power-up room ala Super Mario World "Top Secret" with all the goodies in it.

I'm going to make a simple Zelda 3 hack and want to make sure I don't do something that corrupts the ROM.  In other words for example you don't use the map editor much in FF3ed.  :D

Had a little fun with NBA Jam V1.0 (U).  And that's playing it old school with actual hardware!

what update?  i'm done and waiting for the next beta.

also, flamerus rex is pretty much perfect in terms of difficulty.  it seems the monsters are tweaked well, also.  they hurt you, but not horribly.  i used lots of potions on my way through the dungeon.

The next beta should be completed once I make sure the 1st part of the game is as close to final as possible.  Which means I need an update in terms of game progress from the other people beta testing this. 

And I tried to get as close to possible to being almost impossible without level grinding.  I beat him at level 8 as well so I think that's the magic level--ASSUMING you have enough Cure and Heal Potions.  I gave up trying to make the Zombie Minotaur a miniboss. 

Do you mind starting a fresh new game and playing through it again?  This time pay close attention to the counter rates from all the monsters.  The new 1.4 beta should be ready in the MQHT topic.
