A sequel to Orochi Warriors has been made in japan. You can use your old save data to import your unlocked characters into it. You lose all their levels and shit, however. You only keep the first skill you learn.

GameFAQs page for it: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/data/944760.html

Any idea what it's about? Or is it just an Xtreme Legends type expansion?

Based off of what I saw when I looked at the boards, it's a full sequel using the Dynasty Warriors method osfmaking a sequel. However, there is no giant ass sticky that compiles all the info currently known about the game into one convenient topic, so I could be wrong.

Doesn't seem to be any word about it coming over to the US, sadly.

Bump.

It's been officially announced for the US. It'll be on the X360 and Ps2, and is being called Warriors Orochi 2. It'll be out some time in September.

Sounds like a move to try and bolster the sales. Considering how well the Xbox360 and PS3 are doing, I can't say I'm surprised by this. They know the PS2 is still a live system, and that the next-gen systems in general aren't that good. I'm more looking forward to Warriors Orochi 2 next month.

It's getting a PC version too.

Which seems to be based off of the PS2 version, if the system requirements are taken into consideration.

Frankly, that's lame.
