edit 7/7/08: well, all the data i have so far is up on the site. i'll keep adding things as they're presented here, and i'll keep editing the site itself to make it "prettier", etc.   :happy:

i've gone thr0ugh and grabbed everything i could find in terms of data and general/random facts from all 9 pages worth of threads here.  right now, i have 52 documents: some very specific, some very general, including the towel of bab-il docs and  deathlike's magic guide-if that's a problem, let me know-. i also have  some stuff phoenix has posted, paladin's spreadsheet, entroper's spreadsheet, a pdf, and 2 html pages worth of info, etc etc.  one of those pages is jce's large html doc.  if there's a problem with using it, please let me know.

i want to get all the data up first, then i'm gonna try and give credit to everyone as best i can- which should be do-able, just time consuming. 

objections? ideas?

Very. So this is the book that shot of Kain with white magic came from, I had forgotten the name. I used to have a scan of that screenshot, no idea where I got it from.

I'm not really liking the background (You got that from FFOrigins.com, right?), it doesn't fit a FF4 site. I like the fact that it's simple though, looks really easy to update, I'd have done a two column layout rather than frames though because that makes it even easier to update.

yeah, agreed on the b/g. i kept telling myself, "it's not too bad, maybe someone likes it!" but, really, no. as for it's origins, i got it maybe 3, 4 yeards ago? possibly 5? i don't know where it came from.

as for the simplicity, like i said, it's gonna be super-simple.  i like the frames, but that's really just a preference thing.  you're right about the columns being a bit easier to update.  i like to keep the book's "index" and the "pages" divided. your way would work just as well.

ok, so i'm starting to post some real data(not just offsets, etc, etc, but how different things work-analyses that deathlike has posted). i just wanted to say, death, if you look at the site and don't like what i've done with your info( i've left it pretty much exactly as you wrote it with a bit of html formatting and some minor editing for content), please let me know if you want it changed or taken down, and i gladly will.  i've also credited you("-thanks to deathlike2").

It's pretty much your site as-is, but with the clouds from the GBA version's final battle. I wanted to do something more than this; I was looking for some javascript that would continuously move the top and bottom images like the actual battle background but I couldn't find anything that worked good enough. The biggest problem with everything I found was that it only worked with a fixed size, this site should appear properly on any resolution was long as the browser window is large enough for your images.

Anyway, I'll zip everything up so you don't have to get everything from the page source if you want it. I didn't test it with your frame so you might need to do a little work to get the main text centered decently.
