Figures, it would take virtually forever at 9GP IIRC per battle at the time (~1000 battles... a few less because of the first battle I think).

This is going to sound really pathetic, but...I've done it before. Well, me and my mom; we took turns wasting our lives. The fact that having the gil changed nothing was disappointing, but at the same time it's exactly what I expected would happen.

Well, I've seen leveling in the 50s for Tellah, just to see if his other stats would go up...

Anyways, the only nice trick in the game is to decline Tristan's original offer for bombs to costt EXACTLY the amount of GP you got from the Minotaur boss...

I know isn't that ironic about the Bombs.  :D

What would happen if you had ZERO GP?

Game crashes and console or emu explodes IN YOUR FACE!

Seriously though, it's intentional, but eh why not find out for yourself? Remember that you are not able to buy anything until the next town... Frigidia or whatever it was called.

My best guess though it would be like the BOF2 event (I think) where you put all the money in the bank in order to avoid losing $$$. In this case, you would lose whatever you have.... but it's unclear what the result would be.

The worst case is that the script keeps looping indefinately because you are unable to give him enough $$$.

Seeing how just the minotaur gives you 30 GP, it's impossible without cheating. I tried cheating to have too little GP, and it caused an underflow (is that the right term?) to near-max GP.
