Topic: FuSoYa - Zemus battle

Well, crap.  I got all the way to the end of my hack and found that I'd done something to break the auto-battle with FuSoYa and Golbez.  Namely, FuSoYa does not appear.  (Which results in Golbez casting spells over and over until Zemus runs out of HP.)

Does anybody understand how FuSoYa is loaded for this battle?  If so, perhaps I can figure out where I went wrong....

Was he not in your shadow party?  I believe whichever character is in the proper shadow slot should be loaded.

thats true, he normally saves in slot 01 of the shadow party and is set to be loaded from there...

You could repoint that event to an empty portion of the ROM and rewrite the event commands to ensure the right characters are being used...and actually this would allow you to expand the event if you wanted to.

I did not intentionally change the shadow party... but I may well have goofed it up when I was experimenting with various actors.

FuSoYa SHOULD still be the last character added to the shadow party, but if not him, then Cid, so I'm not sure why nobody loaded at all.

I really don't wish to change this scene, so hopefully I can set things right again but making sure that the shadow party configuration is consistent with what is used in the original game.

I myself might have to change that scene because of having the ability to have golbez. I wonder if its possible to turn that into an actual boss that the party itself faces instead of an event battle.

I figured it was about giving him a battle script... tweaking the enemies is probably the final stage of my little lol patch, but I just got an idea as well....

Since i have left open the option to put Golbez in your final party, I might make a second actor for both him and Anna (Anna who has the actor originally scripted to cast W.Meteo with him anyway since fusoya is now an npc completely). Weird idea perhaps? the daughter of the great sage who died to avenge her when she was left for dead at Damcyan, only for "harley" to drag her to the pot of life after edward departs lol
