Question regarding the boat ride in FF2us/FF4

We all know about when the final scene on the boat ride where the ship gets swallowed by Leviathan.  But ever notice that in the northwest there is a little patch of land.  Where do you suppose that actually is?  Any guesses?

Since Cecil appears right next to Mysidia, I'd venture a guess and say the water between Baron and Mysidia.

This map (4096x4096 gif) has it listed. I'm not sure if that's accurate or not though. I'm guessing it is, but I always thought it was the bottom of that piece of land to the right of Baron.

Dragonsbrethren, your link doesn't work -- they have hotlinking disabled.

The Leviathan event loads at (A8, 90), which is exactly where that map has it posted: just a bit southeast of the Kaipo desert.
