Drakkhen's Ignore Defense & Ignore Charm patches

Drakkhen's page ( http://drakkhen.jalchavware.com/ ) seems to have bitten the dust, meaning his unique & useful patches are now history unless he gets a new page. If anyone has them, could you please send me or upload somewhere the latest (i.e., fixed) versions of his Ignore Defense and Ignore Charm patches? Thanks in advance.

i believe it's hosted on someone's personal box, which could explain the spottiness.  being down 1-2 weeks (if that) isn't cause for alarm yet.

try loading a backup of the site on web.archive.org, and see what patches are available.

Thanks, Assassin. Tried it a few days ago - the web archives don't have his patch pages. Nor are those patches anywhere on the web that a Google search could find. Looking for them currently because I'm about to apply some big fix-alls to my heavily USME-edited rom: the Relocalization & CV Reynolds patches. I never tried putting Drakkhen's patches on after those - they were always near the top to avoid conflicts.

I don't believe Ignore Charm would be useful from that batch, since it was inoperable until Feb of this year when he fixed it, but I think Ignore Defense was always working right, correct? I could make use of that one

I have these:

Ignore Charm
Ignore Kamog (bug-fix)

Those are the original zips from Drakkhen's site and also the final versions of the files. I think these require a ROM with a header, but I'm unsure. Assume yes though, because the FF6 community has long refused to join the 21st century. ;P Anyway, I'm too lazy busy now to make non-headered versions, but that's why we have Leet Sketcher's wonderful Headerizer tool.

Those are the only two I have, unfortunately. :(

EDIT: Site is back up and I have an older version of Ignore Charm now. Just going to remove the files here.

Hey CV, while on the topic of patches: did Leet make a standalone patch of the multi-steal with his fix that re-allows monsters to steal money? Reason I ask, I've been trying to put your giant bug patch over top of Dr. Meat's Relocalization Project, and I'm just now giving up on that since there's just too many conflicts to deal with. Which leaves me with only the old unfixed version of Multi-steal. If there's a standalone patch of it with Leet's fix, I could sure use that!

Both the Imzogelmo patches Leet edited to fix bugs are right here. :3


The Multi-Steal will surely only work with the North American 1.0 version of the game, note.

Also note that these are for NON-headered ROMs. Headerizer to the rescue if you need it.

Also note that the exclamation marks mean nothing important. They're just there to help me sort and I didn't care to remove them before I attached the files. One should have a system to maintain as many fixes in their master patch as I do!

That's good news. Hmm. It appears I DIDN'T have the latest version of Ignore Charm. I was unaware Drakkhen had updated this year. I removed Drakkhen's site from my list of checks the last time it was down for long and was never aware when it went back up. :blush:
