The list is for Enemy attack indexes. I don't think you can change the indexes for the weapons.

392
Ok, here's a draft list: (no longer hosted)

I'll need to do additional testing to adjust the descriptions. But first I need you to implement this one (so I can test with an editor that uses a correct list).

393
Ah, it's good to see the editor back on track. Downloading and testing now ;)
Looks a little weird when you say the HP/MP tables are the newest addition, and further down you say the item editor is.

Character editor looks nicer (flat rectangle shape, not standing). There is a bug with the strength field though.

By the way, if you still have it, could you send me the shop list I made?

EDIT: Feedback update coming soon!

I don't think the stream statements are native to C++...

Blame <iostream> :cycle:

I'd like to see an "introduction" post for the hack in this forum. I'm sure it would help those who are unfamiliar with the project.

Old feedback docs are no longer stored. Ask me if you need to see them.

This could be good. I think JCE can help with design and some other features I've been mentioning.

Speaking of which; I have more ideas for your editor. From now on, the text files will be named by date, and put into a directory on my file host.

EDIT: You could start a thread for your editor in the FFV R&D section.

Final Fantasy V Research & Development / Monster Formation question
« on: May 03, 2008, 01:01:38 PM »
All encounters are either normal or boss encounters.  On normal ones, monsters are selected from the "normal" list; in boss encounters, monsters are selected from the "boss" list.
I have no idea how or where it is determined whether the encounter is a boss fight or not.

The remaining bytes are still a mystery...

Final Fantasy V Research & Development / FF5 Advance bugs

- Tame does not work
- Extra MP is lost after switching jobs and reequipping magic abilities:
Quote
Faris - Time Mage - 260 MP
Changing to Monk - 110 MP

Faris - Time Mage - 260 MP
Changing to Monk with Dimen Lv6 - 260MP

Do the same thing in the GBA ROM, and Faris ends up with 110 MP in both cases.
