Title: Goldeneye News Roundup
Post by: Dragonsbrethren on March 16, 2008, 09:00:15 AM
Originally I was just making this post to show a video of my Office mission, however I decided to give it a little more content for anyone who isn't up to date with what the GE hackers are up to. First off is said movie, it shows a full 00 Agent playthrough and I take my time to show off every part of the map:

I need to register Hypercam to get rid of that watermark, it's really annoying...

More Perfect Dark map conversions were made, Skedar (CS) (http://www.goldeneyevault.com/viewfile.php?id=97) by zoinkity and Villa (CS) (http://www.goldeneyevault.com/viewfile.php?id=98) by Kode-Z. Skedar is complete with a beta bridge cut from the final version of PD. All Perfect Dark maps are being redone to be compatible with Goldeneye, check out the pretty pictures here (http://shootersforever.battlefieldforever.com/forums_message_boards/viewtopic.php?t=2618).

Scorpion released a new mission taking place in the second Bunker, Bunker 3: Ruins (http://shootersforever.battlefieldforever.com/forums_message_boards/viewtopic.php?t=2615) and is currently working on a Surface 3 to go along with it.

bmw released a brand new multiplayer map created with Hammer, Courtyard (http://www.goldeneyevault.com/viewfile.php?id=100). It's a nice map but I haven't had the chance to play it with anyone else yet. Wreck is working on a new map as well, Castle (http://shootersforever.battlefieldforever.com/forums_message_boards/viewtopic.php?t=2554).

Why anyone would care about a canceled remake when they could be playing these new missions and multis is beyond me...

No  civilians/scientists were shot during the game play video. Even the unarmed soldier was spared.

Really ought to use your KF7 when you open that door!  :)
