To Celebrate FF7Remake's E3 Announcement
« on: June 26, 2015, 01:30:36 PM »
I present a teaser pic of a new weapon in my parody project, Final Fantasy IV.5 FU ReMIx.

 The Buster Sword!

It has 15 attack power, and replaces DK Cecil's second Dark Sword. It is effective against multiple races of enemies, making it useful far past the point that you'd currently find it (in a trapped chest found at a newly accessible spot in Watery Pass). Also, since I'm using Grimoire LD's Imbued Weapons mod, it can randomly use DK Knight Cecil's Dark Wave skill when attacking.

That's right. There's now a Buster Sword in Final Fantasy IV, and it can essitially do Blade Beam. If hell hasn't froze over from FF7R's E3 announcement, it has now.

I used a picture of FF7's ingame Buster Sword model as a reference. If you zoom in, it even has Materia slots.  :cycle:

Also, don't worry about the names, they are still "Rosa" and "Edward". I was just playing around with some squish tiles I added to the Namingway screen.

Note: I didn't go and make a Buster Sword because of this announcement. This was actually a request from a good friend of mine, it just happened to be a few weeks before E3 that I made it.
I update my graphics thread on almost a daily basis, so keep an eye out for new stuff!

I'm looking at it right now.
