Is there any evidence of these "new plot scenes" or "new scenarios" the developers keep mentioning but never giving any details about?

I hope the summons don't take 10 minutes each.

General Discussion / Re: Anyone here a Transformers fan?
« on: December 17, 2007, 02:58:12 PM »
I enjoyed the original series (first two seasons) and the 80's movie. Third season and the other spinoffs never captured my interest that much.

The new movie was ok but it seemed like it focused too much on the humans and not enough on the Transformers themselves. After all, the story is about the robots. Earth and the humans are just window dressing.

Chrono Trigger.

It looks like the only version in which she is weak to drain is FF4ET. Maybe that's the one with the bug and the rest are correct.

FF2us doesn't have absorb set

Do you mean that the Grudger in FF2us doesn't have the absorb flag set? Because in the version I have it does...

Basically, each unit has a resistance flag called "absorbs" which, if set, causes it to absorb the elements it would otherwise be resistant to. So you can't have a unit which absorbs lightning but only resists fire. It either absorbs lightning and fire or it resists lightning and fire.

Could it be that things with the absorb flag resist drain?

I didn't get that information from the bestiary by the way. There's a hacking tool called FF4 SMCHack that I've been using. It lets you edit spells, weapons, armor, items, monsters, monster groups... very useful.

Absorbs, lightning, weak to holy

I know Tellah's supposed to have low HP but this is ridiculous.

Anyway, sounds awesome! I look forward to playing it when it's ready!

What was the bug?

Why do you think Kain has an early edge against the Eagles, Floateyes, and Sandmoths?

I know now it's because spears are Air-elemental. But back in the day, I used to just jump all the time so I thought it was Jump that was an air attack, since that makes sense. Then I discovered that he still did crazy damage to them with normal attacks, meaning it was the weapon, not the Jump attack, which to me makes no sense. Why would a spear be air-elemental? I mean it makes sense for the "Wind" spear but every spear? Weird.

Anyway, the drain spear isn't Air either I don't think.

I find it interesting that Kain's spears are Air-elemental as well. I always thought it was just his Jump attack that was Air but apparently it's his weapons.
