Final Fantasy V Research & Development / The Dragon Spreads it wings - SPC, PSF and GSF playing at the same time.
« on: November 04, 2008, 02:11:06 PM »After a few loops i noticed that one of the songs was way off to the other two.. so i listen closely, as i can tell which songs was which and the song sounds different in all 3 versions insturment wise and came to the point that the SNES version was slower than the PSX and GBA version of the song. It seems when the two ports we're made the songs we're speed up just a little.
I'mma go and see if this happens again.

This time i started off with the SPC version then worked my way to the GSF version.. Result is the same, the SPC version was out of sync again. Time to see about the time of the loops.
2Timing -
only played for 1 loop
SNES - 47 Secs
PSX - 47 Secs
GBA - 47 Secs
This test shows that the loops are the same.. but what is causing the SNES version to lag behind?
3This time i recorded the 3 songs into mp3's with 2 loops.. the first loop was correct, but during the second loop it desync.
4I recorded the 3 songs at a longer playtime. The SNES version lags behind first, then either the PSX or GBA lags second.. what's up with Tose, can't they port music right?
We have EVEN MORE themes now, but some old ones are gone...

now only if i can get the text closer together..
