Let me know if something does bug out.  :)

I'm off to start coding a new one.  This time maybe I'll remove all random monster encounters all together.  :)

Wow, I have a complete and utter assembly break in this game.   I'm going to have to start over and redo the entire hack.   :isuck:

Shouldn't take me too long since the changes aren't too extensive.  For now I will send you over the saved games that has him in the party for you.  Let me know if any other game breaking bugs happen!

BTW, I find it odd that the Ninja's name is Cecil along with the Paladin...   :omg:  How'd that happen?

just sent email, let me know if it works for you

When I used that SRM file it didn't have any saved games loaded.  Maybe sending me an snes9x saved state would be better.  One right after loading the game and before walking up to meet Rubicant.

I will try another way to get to that point in the game...

Anyone here an expert at using this thing?

I've got the basics down and even have created my own save points and some of those little blue star NPCs that give items/money/etc.  BUT, my MAIN issue is when I create an NPC that uses any of the person graphics the game screen blanks out all red when you enter the area with the NPC.

I was going to email EvilPeer but I lost his email address and he no longer visits the Chrono Compendium since they went all anti-emulation.

Anyone help me out?  I'll give more specific information if there's someone here who can help.

i encountered possible gamebreaking glitch, i have already contacted JCE about this. when you get to the scene where edge and element lord of fire fights for first time, infinite loop occurs due to the fact that edge is always healed by rubicante's fire moves, and i tried to keep going hoping that edge would eventually kill him with regular attacks but problem is that his flame tech out heals the damage dealt by his weapons, so both cant kill each other. hopefully a fix will happen

I got your last email but the attachment didn't come through.  If its possible can you resend the attachment to jce3000gt[at]gmail[dot]com?  I hate Yahoo mail now.

Estpolis Denki II - The Final Battle 8-bit Remix
Final Fantasy IV - Within the Giant 8-bit Remix
Final Fantasy V - Dragon Spreads its Wings 8-bit Remix
Final Fantasy VI - Decisive Battle 8-bit Remix
Final Fantasy VI - Searching for Friends 8-bit Remix
Radical Dreamers - Frozen Flame 8-bit Remix

I created all but 1 of these samples from scratch using Cool Edit Pro 2's noise and tone generator.  Then once the base waveform was created I manipulated it using various filters and tools in Cool Edit to get the desired effect. I think I did an ok job, eh?  I'm thinking about doing more of these and creating more custom samples from scratch.

:D

Thoughts?

General Discussion / Re: Earthquake
« on: November 10, 2011, 01:05:03 PM »
I see you live near the borders of the state, JCE. I do as well. I felt the earthquake, but only the edges of it. also felt an aftershock. It more confused the hell out of me for a moment or two, as earthquakes in Texas aren't a common occurrence... It was my first "one." I hesitate to call what I felt an earthquake, given I was so far from the center I barely felt anything. The house shook some for a few seconds, and then a few seconds later it shook some more, but not as much as the first time.

Also, assassin, blizzards can happen in Texas. They're just rare(Though, not as rare as an earthquake).

So far we've felt all the shaking from the initial quakes in Oklahoma as well as a few of the stronger aftershocks.  Amarillo, Wichita Falls and as close as Abilene can get blizzards...but as you said they are very rare.  Amarillo seems to get them occasionally, but nothing like the northern border states.  Earthquakes happen down here too, but, they are caused by natural gas drilling or so the USGS tells us.  I just know it is quite a different feeling than being in a Tornado or Hurricane.  Those I can handle no problem, quakes are unnerving.

Anyone try this yet?

Updated the first post to reflect some changes.  Also uploaded some new YouTube videos since last post here.

I need someone that is good with dialogue editing to rewrite the script to sound more adult and Final Fantasy like.  Any takers?
