Editting the battle graphics in the GBA version.

I'm having trouble finding the battle sprites for the PCs, are they compressed?
If so, can I get some advice on how to extract and reinsert them?

Yeah, they're compressed. I forget what program I used to decompress them, but I could never get them to recompress properly.
