I realized today that SD2's SPC core is apparently slightly different in commands from FF5. I don't know how these differences will affect the sound yet.
My guesses, based on a disassembly
Commands F5, F6, and F7 no longer work (Still take the same number of parameters though)
Commands FC (0 parameters) and FD (1 param) exist

This could definately explain why my Gaia's Navel import to FF5 was slightly missing a command.
