Legend of Y's - Book II (DS)

3:3x  I just got the Black Pearl.  I'm also about level 28.  The Roo village thing is a bit odd.  I wonder how close to the original story these remakes are?

I'm close to completing my Final Fantasy collection.  I definately need the Famicom ones and some of the International or Collector's Editions imports.

You have a repeat in your hard type screenshots.

Thanks, I fixed it.

Pretty neat actually.  Too bad most of the people suck at it.

General Discussion & Support / Need description and review writers!
« on: July 15, 2009, 09:48:22 PM »
I need description and review writers for the content on my site.

Example pages that need a better description and review(s):
http://www.jce3000gt.com/spc_editor.php
http://www.jce3000gt.com/ff2usme.php
http://www.jce3000gt.com/ff2usht.php <-- need reviews!
http://www.jce3000gt.com/ff3usne.php

Basically my entire site needs these things since I suck at them.  Plus reviews will be greatly appreciated and would just add more content to the site.

If you are going to do a review I need a 50x50 sized avatar image that I will put in the review window along with whatever name(s) you want to identify yourself with.   :cookie:

How's the new layout?  Big thanks to DKK (Dragonsbrethren) for the php and menu graphics design.  I did the crystal floor bg--as if that was hard.  I like the layout...looks awsome.

Crap, I have a Secret of Mana lowercasing patch, but it's based off of FuSoYa's VWF patch.

Guess once again  I won't contribute to anything...

Oh, wait, Lufia? I could send my Lufia I font patch your way... though it'll need to wait til I get some sleep. It's like 12 AM here and I haven't gone to bed. blargh.

Take your time.  Email it to me.  jce3000gt [at] yahoo [dot] com

...I'm calling all of you who have patches/programs/etc for the following games that you would allow me to host on my site.

The games are...
  • Final Fantasy I
  • Final Fantasy II US
  • Final Fantasy III US
  • Final Fantasy IV
  • Final Fantasy V
  • Final Fantasy VI
  • Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
  • Secret of Mana
  • 7th Saga
  • SoulBlazer
  • Lufia
  • Drakkhen (not likely)
  • Any Square/Squaresoft game in general

Along with these patches if you can provide me any screenshots as well as a semi-detailed description to put I'd appreciate it.

Bought another FFII us with book and map.

This one is expensive but at least it looks in great shape and it has a map!

I need to find another FFIII or two to even the collection out.  I now have 4 FFII's.

*edit*
Make that 5 FFII's.

SPC - Hard Core / Re: Seiken Densetsu 2 / Secret of Mana
« on: July 13, 2009, 06:37:19 PM »
I realized today that SD2's SPC core is apparently slightly different in commands from FF5. I don't know how these differences will affect the sound yet.

My guesses, based on a disassembly
  • Commands F5, F6, and F7 no longer work (Still take the same number of parameters though)
  • Commands FC (0 parameters) and FD (1 param) exist

This could definately explain why my Gaia's Navel import to FF5 was slightly missing a command.

Gaming Discussion / Game collection software + scanner!
« on: July 12, 2009, 11:44:02 PM »
Game Collector

This is definately something I really need to invest in.  This looks fantastic!  A little on the pricey side for the scanner but the software looks brilliant.  I'm downloading the torrent w/crack to test out the pro version to see if I like it.  If I do then I will buy it.  I've included the torrent for those who want to TRY the software.  I do absolutely RECOMMEND EVERYONE who downloads and uses the software to eventually buy it in a reasonable amoutn of time.   :cookie:

As much as I like VGRebirth this could be better for me in the long run since there is an export feature and print feature...which I need.

*edit*
If anyone wants to download the software torrent faster please tell me to start seeding so I can upload it to you very quickly.  Its currently downloading slow with these three seeders...my highspeed line is 20x faster than what I'm downloading it for...

Maybe it will be about the original warriors of light the guys from ff1 eventually revived into?

Awsome.

This looks interesting!  Can't wait to check it out!

Gaming Discussion / Yellowing of SNES/SFC systems and games
« on: July 12, 2009, 10:59:11 PM »

Click for info

We have all seen the yellowing of SNES/SFC systems and some of its games so my question is simple.  Some SNES carts but alot of SFC carts have the backs of them yellowed and its a pain to look at.  Infact some of the SFC games I've won on ebay looked new on the front where the pic was taken but were yellowed on the back.

I'm literally tempted to pickup a yellowed SNES and take it apart to respray it another color.  Is it worth it to pay the extra $$ for a non-discolored SNES?  Or should I just keep my perfect condition SNES in a climate controlled enviornment and just spray paint a yellowed one black or something?

Thoughts?
