Two characters do not obtain Magic Battle Points

Emulator: Snes9x 1.52 Windows port
ROM name: Final Fantasy III (U).sfc
Patch: Pandora's Box demo 2B

This is a pretty major bug, at least in my opinion, so I'm just going to report it here (if this is the right place, that is). This is regarding espers and learning magic spells, see, two out of the four characters receive the points, but the other two do not. This happens regardless of which slot position said characters are in; the two characters I am talking about are Edgard and Matthew. Yeah, I know this is still considered a beta but I'm wondering if there's something I screwed up on, or if it's due to my refusing to use Zsnes (which people spuriously claim to be the supreme snes emulator). Has this already been reported?

It's not a bug. It's a feature/behavior of not having the Magic command.

Btw, did you unlock Gogo+Umaro to equip espers (if only to allow them esper level upgrades)?

It's OK. No worries. :)

And to Deathlike: I think that anyone can equip espers, possibly excepting Gogo, but that's still something we need to look at. It won't come into play during the demo, though.

One thing I'm surprised no one has mentioned is the button configuration option in the Config menu. While the option existed in FF6j, we've added that in despite it being an FF3us hack. But it's actually better than that-- in FF6j, Blitz techniques had to always be confirmed with the A button (regardless of what button was set for "confirm"), and airship controls were hard-coded too. In Pandora's Box, you can configure buttons to your liking, and they should work in all contexts (barring any bugs, of course).
