Pandora's Box / Re: Hello 2012!

Nice to see that you guys are still at it after all these years.
I haven't been here for ages, but I got reminded of this hack when I heard Jesse's gonna live stream a complete play through of FF6 in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series.
(announcement of the live stream: http://youtu.be/PF6BIxw4XDU?t=4m48s )

Just know that I will definitely play this hack whenever it comes out.

We have taken Summon, bent it over backwards, and remade it into a new glorious, uhhh, thing. :cycle:

Oh how great this hack will be. I really long to play it.

Just started playing FF6 Advance for the first time, and I once again remembered why FF6 is the best RPG ever. It's been so long since I've played the game that I had forgotten many details, which is great. Makes it more enjoyable.

Well, I don't have any suggestions at this time (i don't think "RLsz 1t n4owv1!!11!2" is a valid one)... but, I just wanted to say that I'm glad to see several team members posting in this thread all in a short time span.
It's been kinda quiet for a while. Good to know you're still working on it.

How much new content do you have now anyways? And how much more are you going to add? Or is it mostly bug fixing and stuff right now?

I guess the reason I don't have any suggestions is because I'd rather see an earlier release than more content. (a guy who thought even the demo was pretty neat)

For those of you who need a new host.... I use http://www.one.com/en/  for my domain.
it's not entirely free, but only €15/$20 a year.

And as long as you don't have floods of traffic, it's very stable.

Nice. That's really cool. For someone like me who just likes to fiddle around a little from time to time and doesn't have the time or will to code something like this myself.. it's perfect.

On the topic of HL2, I'm using Cinematic Mod 10 beta. I gotta say, it's really awesome. People keep complaining about the Adriana Lima Alyx model, but I feel it grows on you... now I couldn't play without it. (he has added a high-res version of the original Alyx model now though)

I'm not sure I like some of the changes FakeFactory is making for the maps for the final release though... In the beta only the textures are changed as far as I know... . but now he's adding a giant bridge by where you get the car for the first time. *ugh*

I think I'm sticking to the beta if he doesn't make stuff like that optional.

It's out on Thursday over here in Scandinavia.. which is perfect, I get to go see the premiere the day before I depart to Bulgaria for 2 weeks.

And the last movie I saw at the cinema was actually Batman Begins. Great movie, I expect this one to be atleast as good.

After doing some rough calculations with that system + your parts, I came to a usage of about 290w. Although I don't know how much a geforce 6200 uses so you might be able to shave of  10-20w there.

I've got an ancient 486 with Windows 3.1 that still works, except for the CD-ROM drive which is dead.
I've been thinking about replacing it, I've got parts. But I can't for the love of God figure out how to open the thing up! It's like it was never meant to be opened, except maybe with a hacksaw.

Well, the reason I use up so much space is because I'm a TV Show fanatic. I currently have ~500 GB of that.
And the fact that I watch Lost+Battlestar Galactica+Prison Break+Eureka+Heroes+The Tudors+Stargate Atlantis in HD (720p) format, making every episode 1 GB in size, helps to fill up pretty quickly.

I've got a Intel Core 2 Duo running at 2.66 GHZ, 4 GIGS of RAM, 80 gig hard drive, DVD Burner with Lightscribe, a 400 watt peak power Logitech z-2300, and yah. I just thought I might be able to boast for a minute... jk

I could never ever live with only an 80 gig hard drive.
Currently I've got 656 GB free space from a total of 1750 GB.

The rest I can do without 'cause I no longer play any newer games... I might upgrade when Deus Ex 3 is released.

Game Modification Station / Re: FF6 misc ramblings

Well, it doesn't blink with the revival/"HP Loop" method (which uses FC 12 00 00), just if I try restoring the enemies health while it still has HP left. (FC 06 36 00)
The only reason I even tried the later though is because of the glitch that "ThingsWillBeDifferent" mentioned in a thread on Romhacking.net.. that reviving doesn't always work.
And, being the perfectionist that I am, I wanted to find a better way of doing it. (even though the "glitch" he's talking about may have just as much to do with him making a mistake as with the game mechanics)

Anyway, I've tried it now and it seems that reviving is the best way to go, except maybe 24-bit HP. Thanks for your help though. :)
