At this point, just expect a complete rewrite of the editor, since this "newfound info" will require some work done to locate the proper addresses.

If you are indeed referring to me then yes, there is a complete rewrite planned.  I need to get some data together and sketch out my GUI design and go from there.  I'll let you guys know when the beta test process will start.

I will continue experiment with it, at least for a while. If I come across more bugs, I'll be quick to describe them here.

By the way, in case you haven't read this guide yet, check the link. It may give you an idea of what those "unknown" variables can be.

Wow, awsome.  This is helpful as my docs are incomplete.   :omg:

It has a lot to do with people wanting to be "high".. and they truly need to fed a lot of fear in the reality of drugs. I mean it sounds so cliche, but it's true that some people will disagree and not realize it until it is too late.

Sorry to hear about that.

Its just so infuriating.  If this has ever happend to you, losing a friend of family member this way it just seems so pointless.  I mean he was 18...that's really young.

He was 18 yearsold.  What the fuck is wrong with people?  Its 2008, everyone KNOWS narcotics and perscription medication can KILL YOU.  I don't get it.  Thankfully I think they are going to charge the two teenagers who sold it to him with involuntary manslaughter.  Maybe that will teach them a hard life lesson.  And, my cousin's girlfriend (16) also took the heroin, maybe she will now learn the hard lesson as well.

Hey young people (and adults too), take narcotics and abuse perscription medication and you WILL die.  Get it?  Got it?  Good.

Have you ever watched the movie Office Space? If you haven't, go watch it. You will love it.

I have, its one of the best movies ever.

"What do you do about bills?"  "I just don't pay them.  I don't feel like it."  Or something like that.

I am thinking of creating a hack of FF5. I tried using your Multi Editor, and found it to my liking.

However, I noticed some critical bugs in it. The application seems to close at random, and when I edit a monster's HP, the MP is set to zero.

I realize this editor is six years old, but is it possible that the author or someone else could work out its most critical bugs?

Thanks for coming and posting.  I don't know if I even have the source code anymore.  I do however plan on coding another editor sometime before the end of the year,  If I find the source I'll see if I can locate some of the bugs.  If you can reproduce the bugs please let me know how to so I can track them down.

I don't really care what those people think of me on that forum.  I don't have the time to deal with it.
It seems like, in a very small way, you do for some reason.

I'd be lying if I told you that when someone reacts in a positive way it doesn't make me feel good--but that isn't why I solely post about it.

You can't let everything get to you.

He told me that a couple of weeks ago after an infuriating experience of my own.

I know, I have a tendancy to let things bother me.  Again, that's part of my personality--yes its a flaw.  :)

Believe me, it is appreciated. You seem to have sparked an SPC hacking frenzy, which others have taken up.

And in the end that does make me feel good--as I think its good for the "community".  I guess it just boils down to how open-minded the audience is and how much patience I have.  In this case both were negative.  Sometimes it is positive.  Chrono Compendium has been a bright spot--I think some people are really getting into it.  Hell, Gemini flipped when I put up the FF4 data.  Anyway, I think the point(s) have been made.  I'll follow Deathlike2's suggestion and do a little more specific research before I post on a new forum.

There's one thing to remember. Fanboys will act in a way that is what the crowd says. Nothing will ever change that.

I agree.

I had to work today 1pm-11pm, but my alarm goes off at 11:45am so I hit snooze for an hour...then again for another 30 minutes...and I really just didn't want to get out of bed.

know what I mean?

If you read Garfield, it always sounds like the case of the Mondays... or something like that. Sometimes you "just don't feel it" for a day and it sucks like hell.

I <3 Garfield.  Best cartoon evar.  I loved the ones where he goes: "I'm bored.  Bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. Maybe I'll just...".  Too awsome!

For a thought... a lot of newbies that come to a forum think their stuff is the coolest shit on earth. Then they get the smackdown.

I suggest just see what other people have done first and see if they get bitchslapped.

This is actually quite a good idea.

I also suggest that you need to go through the place with a slightly open mind... not every forum will be for you.. some have their own peculiar way of operating, so it's one of those read+see kind of deals.

I had an open mind by posting what I thought they might enjoy--maybe I jumped the gun too soon by removing it--but I've had a long hard day and I just didn't want to deal with it.

Then again, it is smarter to selectively post in threads on Gamefaqs to mitigate the potential stupidity that goes there... and I like bitching about that place... heh

Most of the time I do that on forums where I'm a noob.  Forums like GTPlanet I don't because there are a large section of users who have a similar personality.   :hmm:

You do realize you aren't making yourself look any better with the "delete me you suck" attitude, right? That will come off as extremely childish, even moreso than the dumb fanboy response. You acted way too hastily with the quick edit, which will also make you look like a troll looking for attention. There are times where I wish you would think things over more, and this is one of those times.

I don't really care what those people think of me on that forum.  I don't have the time to deal with it.  If someone wants to see/hear any of my projects they know where to find it.  I wasn't there for attention--frankly I don't really care if no one ever responded to that topic.  And, I really don't care if anyone wants to see any of my projects ever again--what I do is for myself.  I let people know what I do because maybe someone else would appreciate it.  Either way, after reading that forum I've already concluded that it is full of GameFAQs style posting and users.  I really expected as much--I got what I expected.  What is un-nerving is the fact that all that person had to do was re-word their post with some maturity and respect and everything would of been fine.  I don't tolerate it when people could easily be respectful or mature and choose not to be.  This person's profile said they were 22 years old--they should know better.

I'm not trying to sound harsh, I just don't have the patience for this sort of thing anymore.  And I do have a rather short amount of patience--flaw or not its there.  Its part of what makes me...me.

1198
Regarding the topic, hell yes. I've wanted to have long spurts of sleep many times. Hell, I have a hard enough time falling asleep as it is, so what little I get is a blessing. You working a bunch of 12 hour shifts or something?

A few.  I have two jobs if you remember.  I only got one day off this week.

My friend Shauna goes there. I'll ask her an see if that person just sucks or if the whole forum's like that.

I've already PM'd an Admin to remove my account and that topic.  I don't want to be somewhere like this (and GameFAQs) where the people lack a certain humility and or respect.  I'm only interested in open-minded enthusiasts that can appreciate someone's work.

Kind of like here..?
