Interesting story. I just returned from Gamestop, where I had to return a copy of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes my brother had just bought for me on Monday. The disc was getting constant read errors at the title screen. I got as far as making a save on my memory card before ultimately giving up. Luckily my brother had the thought of giving me the receipt in case something goes wrong. So, I go up there and look for another copy of Echoes, which they did not have. I spent about an hour looking through the collection of stuff, and I come across Marvel vs Capcom 2. I saw the price and did a spit-take, then took it up to the counter and asked them if it was a typo.
"No, that's no typo. The game is extremely rare."
The price? $79.99,
used.
Seriously, if I had a camera, I'd have taken a picture for you guys to see. It's that outrageous.
