Is there any way to make custom equipment indexes? Example: Making it so both Kain and Rydia can equip Whips?

Quite easily, when you're on an Equip Index, just press Tab and you'll be able to set whoever you want for That index. There are a couple of blank indexes (Just don't use 31, since that is used by the Knife/Spoon if you're keeping that so you can change them as you see fit.

Okay, I also need to tell you guys what weapons Baigan is able to equip. Baigan will be able to equip all Axes, all Dark Swords and all regular Swords. (Not the Holy ones that are Paladin Cecil specific)

PS: I was thinking of making his class be called MKnight but that reminds me way too much of M. Night Shyamalan and I hate that guy for ruining The Last Airbender, so I'm just calling his class Captain. XD

That works since Cid is referred to as Chief, which isn't his class but his rank. Not to mention Biggs and Wedge from FFIV:TAY I believe have a similar name for their class.

I'm also making it so Rosa can equip Whips, giving Edward more Harps, giving Cid more Hammers, and of course, more Axes for Baigan. Maybe some Dark Swords if I feel like it.

Is there a patch for just that Focus improvement from Combat Boost and one that has just the Kick improvement from Combat Boost? I'd go for Advance too, but I have no idea what command it replaces, care to tell me?

That there is not, because it's such a small change (literally a small set of bytes) if you change Kick you're also going to need to change Dark Wave since the two are the same formula, except Kick is always half the power of Dark Wave.

Advance replaces Hide, since I didn't want Edward to hide anymore I disabled that completely and changed it to Advance and gave the command to Cid.
