For the record, an older version of this has been leaked.

So maybe with the new videos someone can take on the task of recreation of what is lost.  Maybe even with secret help from the original authors.

You don't seem to have gotten that link quite right.

Alienat0r

It was rather surprising, because Dark Serge seemed to be a good member in the past and he encouraged Chrono Cross modding.

This is why you don't let your projects go public until they're complete :P

But where's the drama in a blatant attempt to get publicity for your hack?    :bah:

 :omg:

Edit: Just to be clear, this isn't a jab at you, Deathlike, I merely decided to do one of those corrected by someone else posts as a joke.

I say this because someone thought it was a jab at you on an IRC channel.

I've been reading a bit about what is going on, I didn't hear about this till just today but....why square-enix why? They wern't making any money off of your property, they were just creating a fan project because they were tired of waiting for YOU to do anything about the fans need for a new Chrono game...you know what, I'm just going to stop here, if I get fumed, my comments will go from intellegent to   :omghax: :stfu:

Read what I've been saying...

It's not Square-Enix at all. It was a badly faked and poorly explained publicity attempt. Still, it managed to fool most people.

Thje fact that the beta(Anyone who calls the leaked version an alpha has no idea what an alpha really is) leaked just before the publicly announced release date is the icing on the cake, IMO.

If the C&D order is a fake to get free promotional advertisement for their Crimson hack, I'd say they did a mighty fine job of it. I'd not heard of it until this news come about. Makes me want to try and play it.

As Michael Wilbon would say, "flex some muscle and protect the shield!" as he likes to say whenever an NFL team (or the company itself) does something questionable.

It was a badly faked and poorly explained publicity attempt. Still, it managed to fool most people.
I've certainly had enough of those...

Context? What is this beast you speak of?

I dunno, I've been playing through the leaked version and there's some stuff that hadn't been changed yet. A few npc's in the first town have (insert text here) and the dates are still 1002 and not 1005.

the whole thing seems convincing to me.  you say the beta leak is "icing on the cake"; what are your other supporting reasons for this being a stunt?
