lots of close games this week. caught the last 3:50 of the Eagles/Cowboys game. that last interception was a heartbreaker, as i tend to root for Orton, and he played well the rest of the game (though they did have to settle for a lot of field goals).
all the games any of us got wrong were quite close, decided by 5 points or less -- except for Jets/Dolphins. Miami's offense was pathetic. i'm not sure why they didn't run the ball more, as they were successful at it in limited carries.
it sucks about the Cardinals not getting in, though less so than if they'd won the game.
the Lions were the only team in the sad NFC North to score more points than they allowed, and yet they had a slightly losing record. that'd make it kinda weird if Schwartz gets canned, though i guess it's still understandable, with their late season crumbling and their losses to pushover teams.
