This is one of the rare times I felt like posting a review before I've finished the hack. Hopefully it's posted on RHDN soon, but the reality is I don't think I will find anything radically new or cool about this hack.

When the damage calculation is being done for the Atmaweapon (assuming you put the Drainer in the right hand), is the HP calculated towards the damage algo using the HP value before the drain or after the drain?

It's not helpful if the spell is unusable outside of battle.. it is probably best to disable it.

It doesn't do anything in battle because JCE changed which spell slot it uses.

I figured that was the case.. but I was speaking outside battle...

Sure, did you check Dispel's effect outside of battle?

Did you remember to readjust all the equipment that have those spells...?

It does nothing, since you moved the spell over AFAIK.

Dispel doesn't do what it is supposed to do outside of battle either (removing Float and Vanish)...
Although, I suppose they could be tied at the hip (though, I'm unsure of that, but whatever I guess).

Well, there's the unfixed spell description (L4 Flare)

The weapon description screenshot is mainly WTF for me.

There's something wrong with one of the battle scripts.. either Xlom3000 or ????? (a Brachiosaur, monster #38)

The monster "throws a Blue Veil" for whatever reason, and that's glitchy in itself.

Additionally, there's something wrong with the formation, that it is causing a "bugged SrBehemoth" drop.

This should be fixed, it wasn't either of the monsters causing a problem but instead there was an empty slot present, which also caused the glitchy drops.

Well, I do need the fix soon.  :tongue:

I remember that, but I don't recall it happening with Doom in this hack. I usually go about it the same way in the hacks.. just waiting it out after hurting the boss enough.
