Good web host that isn't expensive

I'm about to get paid a decent amount of money so I was thinking about pre-paying for a year's worth of service from someone.  Here are my requirements...

  • Need at least 512MB of storage space
  • Need a reasonable amount of monthly bandwidth
  • Need to support PHP, SQL and whatever else
  • Need to be less than $8~10 per month.
  • Absolutely needs to allow me to have www.blitzkrieginnovations.com as a host name and not some stupid blitzkrieginnovations.webhost.net or whatnot.

I used Godaddy for a year, it was about $5 a month with all that you mentioned. I think I had 10 GB storage, plenty of bandwidth, PHP and Sql supported, etc...

Only reason I canceled is because I didn't need such a large-scale website :P

Yeah sorry, forgot to mention that too. It costs $10 to register a domain name for two years there.

I use hostpc myself. I love their installitron. I don't have to find any web applications. I can just install things (ie joomla, forums, drupal wordpess, etc etc. even had smf) through it without needing to dig for them. They generally keep everything up to date as well. mine was 50 for a year. 5gig storage, more bandwidth than wasabisoft could ever use.
