The 6 Ghost formation is also the rare 1/64 chance battle on a couple of those floors.  Use an Alert to find them.

  ph34r the Ghosts.  They are quite possibly the most annoying regular monster in the game when you get into the battle formation with 6 of them.  Observe one of the pics I use in the FF2usHT section on my main site.

Here are a couple of other things to watch for:

Got I love (and hate) FF1's Sorcerer because it is by far the most feared regular monsters in gaming history.  So I recreated him.  Have fun with that.

Characters by themselves no.  You need equipment in order to resist elementals.  I'm sure however with some ASM modification you could do this, as god knows there is a ton of room you could use for the code.

Is there some extra bit that tells Meteo to do extra damage?  Or maybe its own elemental properties?

Great.. because I ended up giving Rosa a Whip in the end...

Anyways, is the stat growth fixed Level 70 and onwards or is it character/class specific?

Character specific if memory serves.

It was FF2us 1.0 cart that I did it on.  That is exactly the glitch.

Here's a bug I noticed with the Avenger sword and the first Zeromus battle (the one where Cecil needs to use the Crystal), when there are more than 2 characters berserked with Kain equipped with the Avenger I would have Cecil cast a spell and Kain would go into his casting animation.  I haven't been able to reproduce this bug, in 10 years.  That's how I knew Kain even HAD a casting animation.  It was on my cart, and this is probably more of a berserk bug--but the fact that Kain was the recipiant of this interesting bug while equipped with the Avenger I suspect it has something to do with it.

Hopefully someone else can reproduce this.

There's the equipment bug. I thought it was the Mythril Glove that was bugged, but clearly it is the armor.

Awsome!  An actual bug I don't remember.  I'll fix any bugs you encounter when you finish the game.

That brings me to the following question for DKK, have you fixed any bugs for my FF2usHT?  Or was it just FF3usHT?

And I hope you still have that FF3usHT bugfix edition...I would like to finish it and release it.

I've thought about doing a reverse FF6 for a few years as a rom hack.  It would be epic, but until someone comes up with an event editor I do not want to do it by hand.

Its hard to balance really, I kept running into problems.  You'll notice probably about 3~5 spikes in difficulty that require you to level...which sometimes results in overleveling.  In the end I guess its up to each player's style.

Bosses: The more they change, the more they really are the same...

The Airship, The Crystal, And Power Overwhelming

Care you explain?  I need to know what things I need to improve upon also.  ;)

Mark your suggestions with * so I know that's something I need to look at for my next hack.

Hmm.. I understand the MP Tab and Tella being able to use Cure4 ONLY if that was used.. however, I don't see the logic in allowing Tella to have the Life2 spell available. That's just a wasted spell slot.

Also, I don't understand why you made the KarateGi that much better than the Knight Armor.. like, it's far superior, and yet 1/2 the price. Even worse.. it doesn't even compare with the Mythril Armor...

The Holy arrows are not sold at Toroia.

Also, I don't quite understand why the weaker Dark Knight armor is sold at Fabul.. but the "missing set" is sold at Agart... is there more I should know about the armor?

I never liked Tella, so I pretty much made him useless.  Most people would ASSUME the Knight/Mythril armor is superior because they aren't hackers like you.  I left a few "buggets" for people who take the time and compare equipment old versus new.  You'd be surprised how long I used to hack the Thief's armor equipped because of the stat bonus.

The Dark Knight equipment is just some random shit I threw in there.  I can't remember if anyone else can equip that stuff or not.
