Hey guys,

I wonder have you used a SNES emulator that can ran .ips on the fly (without the need to patch a ROM before playing it)?

uh, pretty much all of them, provided filenames without extensions match, e.g. FILENAME.ROM and FILENAME.IPS, and are in the same directory.

Thank you assasin. I think I tried before but didn't worked. Somebody told me that the ROM must be without header but no success either. Lets hope the trick is in giving same filenames.

Personally, a better function for the emulator would be to separately load the patch to soft-patch the rom you want to play. That way you don't need to do renaming shenanigans, and you know exactly what is what. But that makes sense, and we can't have that. :lame:
