Final Fantasy VII on PSN
« on: June 02, 2009, 08:51:01 PM »
It's just been released on Playstation Network. I'm downloading it, still 2 hours left :/

All I can say is, it's about damn time they re-released this game. The prices on eBay were getting ridiculous.

How much is it? Is it a direct port or a graphical upgrade one? I remember seeing a Advent children style train scene remake.

Can you believe it? I LOST my FF7! I wanted to play it like a week ago and tore up my room looking for it. I'm pissed. Where could it be?!

$10, and it seems to be a direct port. However, there are no load times! Battles begin instantaneously after the fade-in, and end instantaneously after the items/gil screen. The game doesn't have to stop and try to load the data from the disc. :win:

I broke my ff7 disc 1, and lost my old memory card - so I couldn't play it at all :/

So how long before this rip gets patched and released to those of us with a modified PSP so we can have the same fun too?

It's probably already happened.
Instant loads? That's AWESOME.
I need a code to get the gold chocobo! How do you do it? A + B and B + C and then you get combine the nephew and aunt and their imbreed chicken breeds with your nephews cousin?

Well technically there are still load times, but it's much faster than playing it on the disc.

Is it faster than playing the already isoed psp versions?

Probably not, since the reason it's faster is because it's not having to load from the disc.

technically the isoed version for poploader isn't loading from a disc either. But it still has the calls I'm sure. I hadn't tried the popsloader version for psp. I did make my own eboots from my discs at one point, just never got around to testing them.
