You get laps by clearing all eight bosses. The bosses (and normal enemies?) get stronger each lap.

The new version adds at least two new areas (a new Wave Man area and a new Charge Man area), here's a movie of it, it's not very good though:

I learned that trick about blowing up the giant missile launching guys with the Napalm Bomb from your movie, never knew about that.

Sweet - I was just trying stuff out cause I didn't feel like using the mega buster on that guy. I know I should utilize my special powers more often, but I've always preferred a charged mega buster shot over anything else, usually.

Yeah, I'm the same way, the only game I really use a master weapon over the Mega Buster is MM2 (the almighty Metal Blade). I've been trying to adapt to using the weapons more often but most enemies in this game can be taken out with a single uncharged buster shot anyway, seems kind of wasteful. My favorite weapon has to be the Gravity Hold, I just wish it destroyed enemies so I had a chance of getting weapon energy to refill it.

A while back I had decided I was only going to post new runs if they exceeded my past best...but since it doesn't look like that will be happening again anytime soon I decided I'll start posting my best for the current version:

081025 - 167 (Hard Mode)

After the...third death, I believe, I just stopped trying and started screwing around with Rush and my master weapons.


I was just thinking, it's been a long time since a hack has kept me this interested, a day hasn't gone by that I haven't attempted at least one run of this thing.

If anyone hasn't gotten Quick Man's stage yet (or doesn't know how to get past it without the Time Stopper), it's the second area I get in this movie:

Ok, two new movies for the October November 2nd update. The first is a showing of the normal, which isn't all that impressive.

Then there's the one for hard mode. This one I will dub "The Adventures of the Wily Stages," since I swear that's all I had for a while there. I also encounter the newest laser room the most of any rooms out there (as opposed to the newer evil gravity room, which I believe I saw once entirely). This movie has it all, a very strong start, a blooper reel, and a very strong finish. :happy: Trust me, you'll know when you get to the bloopers. :isuck:
