Looks great!  It was fun contributing what I could to the editor.  :)  Good luck with the NES programming!

If you are burnt out take a break!

Sometimes it happens to the best of us...

Speaking of which, did you happen to look any further into it, JCE3000GT?

Hey hey!  I haven't found much to report yet but when I get back from vacation I will take a peek.  :)

Final Fantasy IV Research & Development / Re: exit/smoke?
« on: May 11, 2015, 02:15:22 PM »
Wow, that's a good point.  But when I play the Japanese version running isn't always as quick and guaranteed.  Try running from a Behemoth or Death Mask.  Perhaps that's what they were designed for?

Trivia, I use Smoke as an experiment to test different effects.  Never liked that spell.

Something also occurred to me, using Exit or Smoke doesn't have the party lose GP.

Wow this is pretty awesome work.  Think of the possibilities this could open up...

Did you change the battle AI or battle events?
I think we're driving at the same thing...

Great minds think alike?  :D

Gaming Discussion / Re: Final Fantasy MQ gets an HD remake

It was all RPG Maker I just don't know what version.  If someone wanted to do a remake of MQ I would IMMEDIATELY come out of retirement and help 100%. I've already done an arranged soundtrack that I was going to give to this guy in 2013 but he never got back to me.   I love MQ and it deserves a remake.

Actually I came in here to tell you all this is a fraud.  If you pre-ordered it submit a claim with PayPal to get reimbursed.  The game was real but the owner of the company was a fraud.  This was never sanctioned by Squeenix and the contract he claimed was from SE is also a fraud.

Too bad, it seemed like a decent game.  Sorry everyone for paying this "too good to be true" game.  :(

I think next I might finally get to that track jce wanted me to do from SaGa

But first! an update to the original track.

adjusted pitch on the square waves, added a delay to some notes on square 2 to give it a more jazzy feel and added vibrato

edit 3:

actually I didn't like the vibrato at the end, so I changed it once more

I'm not 100% sure the game engine would support this sort of thing without doing some serious assembly work.  So I do not think you will be able to do that in battle very easily if at all.  Outside of battle yea that's easy.

Let's see what the others say.  :)
