no, though i've only used Firefox on these forums like once.  and it's hard to tell exactly what's happening there, given you decided to upload a midget image. :P  at any rate, that still looks better than trying to view the Purple scheme in IE6: you get purple text on a purple background, making it nearly unreadable.

I've got it uploaded at full size here. I guess I should have linked to that in my first post instead of the half-sized jpeg.

Yeah, I should really do some sort of CSS workaround to make this place look better in IE6. If it wasn't for the stupid way CSS handles giving an element opacity this would be a non-issue, it's the fact that I'm stuck using translucent PNGs for the table backgrounds that's causing it to look like garbage in IE6.

ah, thanks for the info on IE.

yeah, that FireFox screen is screwy.  did it fix itself after a refresh?  and i see the "Super Secret Hideout" isn't very well-traveled. :P

also, can somebody upload a screenshot of what the main forums page here is supposed to look like?  i get different results in IE6, Opera 7, and FireFox, so i really haven't a clue.  for all i know, this place has dancing hamster wallpaper, your username isn't even "Dragonsbrethren", and the lot of you are really discussing baked goods recipes despite all the posts i supposedly see mentioning "ROMs".

No, it's still the same, even changing themes doesn't fix it.

Edit: Actually, this seems to apply to any translucent image, I just noticed that the "glowy" image drawn over tabs when you hover over them is messed up at times as well, especially if I move my cursor right when it's being drawn.

Here it is in IE7, which is the same as it looks in Firefox normally, except I got the screenshot before my avatar finished loading.

Edit 2: Clearing my cache didn't work but restarting did? Oh well, I'm just glad it's back to normal.

That looks like some extensive table brokenness. I've had smaller instances of that happen at RHDN, but it's rare.

That reminds me, I need to work on my "how to barbecue a flaming troll" recipe.

Gah. Merton works even better if you abuse the Debilitator. All 3 basic elemental absorbing shields (ignoring the Paladin Shield since it's too uber) are friendly towards this spell. It's not hard to take advantage of this fact.

Yeah, Meltdown is easily the best healing spell in the game, I can't think of one time I got to the end of the game and didn't have the equipment necessary to heal my entire party with it. Now if he was ranting against Tornado he might have something, the spell is just worthless to me...

Everything should be showing good for you now, assassin. Sorry it took so long, it just slipped my mind.
