With how hot we are entering the playoffs and how no-hot Detroit the pressure is on them for sure.  And they may be without Suh after that atrocious move stepping on Aaron Roger's leg like that, what a classless act.

I do agree though, odd that I would prefer a "road" game, though there would be just as many Cowboy fans in Detroit.  :D

^ the fans are gonna be hard to distinguish if i watch this on an SD set; same color schemes and all. :)  anyway, congrats to the Cowboys.  a very formidable team.

my message to each team's defensive coordinator would be: doubleteam Calvin Johnson.  doubleteam Dez Bryant.  Stafford and Romo are talented quarterbacks, and they don't mindlessly lock in to a certain receiver, but they do have their favorites, who score a disproportionate share of the teams' receiving touchdowns.  make the QBs go out of their comfort zones and have to beat you with other weapons.  maybe a drive or two will end early in a punt, or maybe they'll have to settle for a field goal or two inside the red zone.

Week 17 totals:

Deathlike2 = 11-5
assassin = 13-3

Cardinals at Panthers is only available on cable/satellite unless you live in one of those teams' markets?!  fuck that.  the NFL isn't the NHL, NBA, or MLB, where there's 5+ games per playoff round; it's just the 1.  nor does this sport have the niche interest of hockey, or slowly falling interest of baseball.  i hope the ratings are horrible by broadcast network standards (they might've been anyways, given the teams playing: the tallest sad midget against a determined, cactus-eating, survivalist cripple), and that this experiment blows up in the NFL's face.

Wild card round:

Saturday:
Cardinals @ Panthers: 4:20 EST (ESPN)
Ravens @ Steelers: 8:15 EST (NBC)

Sunday:
Bengals @ Colts: 1:05 EST (CBS)
Lions @ Cowboys: 4:40 EST (FOX)

My picks: Cardinals, Steelers, Colts, Lions

Cardinals at Panthers is only available on cable/satellite unless you live in one of those teams' markets?!
It's just going to get worse now. The FCC made a ruling that finally brought the NFL up to the current century about the blackout policy, and now the NFL is going to strongarm its way onto cable-only. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise, since they've been slowly going on this route for the past 8 years or so, with the introduction of the NFL network and all.  :hmm:

I know I'm 17 weeks or do too late but is like to chime in.  :)

Panthers 24-14
Steelers 38-13
Colts 31-24
Cowboys 35-10

And, I really don't see the Steelers and Cowboy games being remotely close.  Leno, you just don't like the 'boys do ya?  LOL

hey, that's been my style for years now.  hopefully, you stick around for the entire playoffs.

i'm echoing your picks:

Panthers
Steelers
Colts
Cowboys

as usual, those are subject to change pre-game, particularly if personnel does.

LOL, I will try and do these picks for the playoffs.  I do work weekends so I doubt I'll be able to watch any after this weekend.  I get to work from home this weekend.  :)

Picks this week.  I'm somewhat on the fence on the Seattle vs Carolina game, I see that going either way really.

Seattle 23-17
Cowboys 27-26
Baltimore 30-21
Denver 44-29
