So far so good.  MQHT is turning out to be quite difficult.

In the second pic he died after I critical'd him.  I'm sure someone would of died if I did crit him.

Hmmm, seems that I've gone and made a fun yet pain in the ass mod.  I can't tell you how many times I've died and how many Cure Potions I've had to accumulate.

There will be a premium for Remedies/Heals.

:edit: 2

this can't be right...

:edit: 3

i died 4 times before this and ended up using all but 1 of my cures.  definitely a tense battle.   :whoa:

Worms?  WTF? I don't remember that...

And yes that FlamersRex battle is a bitch!

I have NO clue how to solve the "Worms" bug.  Any ideas?

Also I need an update from the beta testers.

what update?  i'm done and waiting for the next beta.

also, flamerus rex is pretty much perfect in terms of difficulty.  it seems the monsters are tweaked well, also.  they hurt you, but not horribly.  i used lots of potions on my way through the dungeon.

The next beta should be completed once I make sure the 1st part of the game is as close to final as possible.  Which means I need an update in terms of game progress from the other people beta testing this.

And I tried to get as close to possible to being almost impossible without level grinding.  I beat him at level 8 as well so I think that's the magic level--ASSUMING you have enough Cure and Heal Potions.  I gave up trying to make the Zombie Minotaur a miniboss.

Do you mind starting a fresh new game and playing through it again?  This time pay close attention to the counter rates from all the monsters.  The new 1.4 beta should be ready in the MQHT topic.

i'm in the forest now, and  i notice that i'm getting hit with counters every once in a while.  i don't know if i got lucky this time or what, but the first couple battles seemed easier than with 1.3.

i haven't been hit with counter in the last 6-8 battles.  maybe the first few were a fluke.

:edit:

back to playing, still in forest, haven't been countered at all. my mistake on the first couple, i guess.

:edit: 2

"minotaur counters!"
"mat's defense down!"

fuck the minotaur.

v1.5 is out, I suggest trying that one.  I'll be starting a new game.

I changed some character starting stats so it might be needed to start a new game.  But probably not necessary.

ok, 1.5.  here goes...

:edit:

already, the monsters seem easier? after i got to level 2, i didn't have to heal after every battle.  it's now every 2nd or 3rd.

I have no idea why the monsters seem easier.  I'm thinking my counter thing is busted.
