What timer issue are you speaking of? Other than the migration to 1.1 is to fix Sleep/Paralysis with Stop.. there's only one major script-timer issue with those tree monsters that use Poison while under Charm...

I recall the game crashing in a battle with Ghosts when they applied count to my party, I thought that was related to the other timer issues in some way although I can't say for sure, I don't remember the specific circumstances. It's still a  good idea to port it to 1.1 to fix sleep/paralysis and stop even if it has no effect on Count.

That one was intentional, it was brought up in another thread here.

I remember it was isolated to a few formations with the varients on Mt. Hobs, and perhaps a back attack is involved.

Ahhh.  So the two sorcerors was just a joke enemy, because it's so hard.  Gotcha.

Bahamut was a total joke, killed him at 2.  Exitted out, progressing onward.   :cycle:

No.. they aren't. You'll find more.

Those treasure chest monsters were designed to "play nice" (aka lose and still get the treasure). It won't be the same later on.

Oh.  :isuck:

 :edit: Levels;
Kain 56
Rydia 50
Cecil 52
Cipher 50
Rosa 52

Kain is still using Blood spear, I see no reason not to.  He's completely invincible, unless he dies in one hit, and often does upward of 5k damage anyway.

Hmm.  Maybe this has been brought up before as well, but I got monsters from the heal tile in the lunar area, and it was 3 sorcerors, all of whom decided it was a good idea not to attack me... Intentional??

The monsters being there to begin with is part of some dumb bug the programmers forgot about.

The monsters battle scripts are messed up due to location of the battle.

Mmm, I understand.

And I see what you mean about the sorcerors, I opened up a chest expecting to just grab the ninja armor and move on, when 3 sorcerors jumped me.  I revived everyone who got dropped, cast bahamut and picked em off.

Sorcerers (if you didn't read the thread here) are paying a devilish honor to the FF1 Sorcerers who seemed to love to one hit kill you even if they did 1DMG.

*edit*
A few little screens of a Sorcerer in action on my last quest.

The monsters being there to begin with is part of some dumb bug the programmers forgot about.

This is actually pretty simple, it has to do with the static events, and it's really funny that it happened to come up now of all times because I was just discussing this data with Leno. It just so happens the event that tile loads uses the same byte the game uses to determine that it's supposed to load a battle there, pure coincidence, the programmers obviously never thought about occurring. The same goes for exits that give you treasure, the X position you're warping to has to have the same value a chest that gives you an item would use, and the Y position determines the item you get.

Haha.. that's awesome.  :d

This final dungeon is absolutely brutal.. It's going okay though, I haven't hit a game over yet, but I had to go back and heal after getting the ninja armor.
This is defintiely difficult.

Grabbed the murasame, ???? Wasn't rough at all.  Weak/blast is a clever combo, but it just has no quickness to it.  Plowed back to the beginning, healed up again.  Moving on, with determination.  :shadow:
