1) this is related to the fact that I changed the hex ID of Paladin Cecil. Grimoire knows the fix for this, and it shouldn't be related to anything else.
Haha I began to think that was the case once I saved the game after getting Cid, and noticed it was his HP being shown at the Save menu, which explains why it's 0/0HP whenever he isn't in the party, or it deters to the closest save file with a Dark Knight saved to it. Glad to know there's a fix for it!
2 & 3) while I don't doubt that these have to do with one or several of the mods you've applied, I'm clueless as to which one, and I don't know if there's a real easy fix (moving every tile in the maps over by three spaces in FF4kster should work, but will be a bit of a PITA).
Hmm, with that in mind I might do just that (moving the map tiles 3 tiles over) or recreate them the best I can using a screenshots + trigger/map info as guidelines.
4) Don't know. Doesn't seem like something that would be a side effect of one of the mods, but who knows? It might be something as simple as the game just checking for the wrong status for pixelation. Try applying each status to a character, one at a time, and see if anything causes the pixelation effect. Also, does the HP loss still occur? I'm 99% that the pixelation should occur on the moon.
Ahh, I'll to check that out! Luckily I have savestates on the build I was playing near to this spot. Also, I didn't check to see if the HP still occurred, as I think I was amped for going through the Giant and didn't think about it at the time.
5) ???? I'm not sure I quite understand the circumstances under which this occurred (not that it would really help me know what happened...) Do you mean you were in the Hummingway cave and you pressed x,b,x,b,x,b,x,b... And eventually it crashed? Can you reproduce the bug, and if so, can you reproduce it under other circumstances (on other maps and on that map at different points in the game)?
I'll do a step by of what I was doing at the time.
!: Beat the CPU in the Giant, got Kain back and ended up on the Moon after the event ended.
2: Flew to the Hummingway Cave and bought some items
3: Opened the menu and used a Whistle, then out of curiousty counted up the number of slots usable in the Fat Chocobo's Cache (I counted 128-130 slots, give or take a few). Being that the cache was almost full, and I've takinn the Trash Can out the Item List I figure it was good to see how much space a player would have in there.
4: I step out of Hummingway cave, now back on the Moon's Overworld. I open my menu, but the menu doesn't show. The screen stays black until I decide to reset.
5: I press A at the Title screen, it goes to load the save file screen, but the screen stay's black. The save file is now somehow corrupted.
It's as if the Menu was looking for something before opening, did not find what is was looking for, and said "Aaaand it's gone...." haha.
And with that, I'm off to do some testing!
