While that is a GREAT theme my favorite battle music has to be this.  And when the trumpet really kicks in at the 0:38 second mark it gives me chills and goosebumps its so awsome.

This is one of my favorite boss themes for sure. Kenji Ito is an absolute god at battle themes. My other two favorite boss themes are the one from RS1 (SNES) and the one from Lufia 2

Yes Mystic Quest deserves TWO spots on my top five.  If I were to finish the bottom five of the top 10 the other MQ battle theme would be in there too.   :laugh:

Thought I'd share this little project of mine, it's a mashup of Lufia 2's boss theme and the "Marisa Stole The Precious Thing" fad song from Touhou Project (dunno how many of you are familiar with the latter) - but I thought they went really well together, especially towards the end.
