FFX-2 is a good game once you put the audio on mute. It's got the second best job system(Losing to FF5.) in an FF, the best version of the ATB system, etc.

It's a solely gameplay focused title. Everything else is literally tacked on.

There's a movie on game trailers, (don't have the link) that shows a guy playing the boss battle against mom bomb, and get this they added a feature that was in FFV?  and FFVI, that feature allows you to skip turns!

lots of new vids at gametrailers

http://www.gametrailers.com/game/4902.html

I like how if you hit an enemy with something they are vulnerable to it says

"weakness" that's a great addition.

I can't get any of the videos on that site to load, they just sit at 0% when I click into them. I even tried waiting thinking there may have been something wrong with the site and tried again just now, same result. Anyway, they appear to be the exact same ones that are on the official site so it's no big loss.

If you're using Firefox with AdBlock Plus (or another ad blocking software), you probably need to disable it for gametrailers.com.  Some of their videos break when they try to show you an ad first and it gets blocked.

Yeah, that was the problem, they're working fine now. Thanks for the tip, I hadn't even thought about that.

Yep, I had the same problem a few weeks ago.

I watched the video vs. Scarmiglione, and all I could think of was how horribly slow-paced it looked.  That's something I detest about the 3D FF games; battles take 2-10x longer than they used to for the same number of actions taken.

I hope the summons don't take 10 minutes each.

The battles are only slow because the default speed is set to 4.
Yeah, it's out. Playing it now, already died once, Helldivers can inflict gradual petrification which petrifies you really fast on active 1. I'll describe it in detail later.
I still bet at the fastest speed, it's slower than FF4 for the Super Famicom on default speed.
