This forum has a rather difficult registration process! (never played Dynasty Warriors, thanks google)
This is a wonderful hack. I'm really impressed with the changes! I've played up until the cave to the sealed gate, but in the first room with the disappearing/reappearing bridges it seems to be impossible to pass through. There's just no bridge to the bottom. I know this is a demo so I'm not sure if this is just as far as the hack has been developed or if there's some way to progress I'm missing.
Anyway, just wanted to give a bit of feedback.
Terra

I like how magic is handled. Terra has plenty of MP so I'm not afraid to use magic often. The power level is down, so it feels fair. Haven't used morph more than once. She seems to revert back to her normal state before I can get any use out of it.
Locke

The increased number of steal slots on enemies is cool, but it's way hard to steal early on. Choosing Steal pretty much never paid off. Once I got Plunder I would win the occasional potion or broadsword but I don't know if I ever really got anything worthwhile.
He can use magic, but only has a bit of MP and lower magic power. A nice way to expand Locke's utility without stepping on Terra and Celes' toes.
Edgar

Tools are really good in this hack. I used to rely on the noiseblaster or autocrossbow in the original FF6, but the virus blaster is absolutely killer. It does good damage to all enemies, and the poison damage in this version seems to have been bumped up considerably.
Sabin

Never unlocked more than the first two blitzes. Aura Blast is decent. It seemed to miss a bit more than I would like early on though.
It's cool that Edgar and Sabin can Summon their esper without actually learning or using magic. Great way to give espers a bit more utility than they would otherwise have (Kirin is amazing!)
Banon

Something to say about Banon, who would have thought? No more awesome healing ability, but a perma-equipped heal rod. Very nice. Maybe raise his strength a bit to make his healing more effective and make him a little more resilient or give him more HP. I think he got one shotted a few times in the back row, which is just ridiculous since it results in game over.
Shadow

Some of my favorite changes! Giving him steal makes tons of sense thematically (even if the steal rate is pretty rough so far). It felt great giving Shadow a Hyper Wrist and Genji Glove and letting him go to town with his automatic two-handed weapons. I didn't even miss throwing shurikens.
Celes

Similar to Terra, of course. I do wish Runic would work after Celes gets another turn, but that's an issue with the original game. Overall she's well-balanced.
Cyan

Thank Xenu for sped up Bushido! I'll actually use it now! Cyan was merely okay until I unlocked quadra slice, at which point he rocked socks. Sort of a tank with flair.
Gau

I can actually SEE what moves each rage does in his rage menu??? Such a simple change, but so wonderful. If only there was a way to see that info in battle! I do get lost with all the new monster names.
I'm glad to see the freaking ATTACK option there. Thank you! Gau seems really strong overall. Is it just me or does he use basic attacks more frequently in his rage state now?
Setzer

I like the auto-offering (or is that just how playing cards work?). It fits with Setzer's gambler theme. I can tell slots is truly random now, as I never land anything! Good to see the default move heals decently though. Setzer is one of my favorites to have around in battle.
Mog

I ran around collecting all his dances, but haven't used him outside of that since he is so highly leveled when you get him. I like to keep my characters around the same levels, so when Mog shows up 5 levels higher than everyone else he's probably not getting any action until the floating continent.
Some general observations:
-Couldn't solve the clock puzzle in Zozo which made me feel like a sucker for running around getting all the clues. Thanks for the cheap potions and ethers in Zozo though! I'll take those over a Chainsaw any day.
-The original Whelk battle was weird. I could damage his shell or his head if he wasn't hiding and it didn't seem to matter. No counterattacks or anything. Wasn't sure which part I should be focusing on and the fight lasted a while without much happening.
-The rest of the bosses I encountered were the opposite. They seemed to go down very quickly. I must just be really good at this game or something.
-It's wonderful seeing so many things to buy but having so little gold. RPGs should force tough choices on you! When you factor in the high cost of phoenix downs and tents, how you handle your money becomes very important.
-I actually thought making me run back to Nikeah to get the parts from Kirk was cool. Maybe if you could get Mog in your party earlier you could bring him along and kill two birds with one stone by collecting his water rondo on the trip. Then Mog would actually get to see a bit more use in the WoB, which would be swell.
-The escape from Vector was brutal and relentless. I think I was down to fewer than 10 potions and no way to revive the dead by the end of it. Was very satisfying when I finally got away on my airship.
I'll stop there and just say, great job on this! It's one of the most promising hacks I've run across. Being able to play the classics but experience new things makes nostalgic gaming a thousand times better!
